REPAIR/ REPLACEMENT OF HT OVERHEAD LINES, TRANSFORMER, HT UG CABLES, SWITCHGEARS AND ALLIED WORKS UNDER AOR OG AGE E/M OF GE (A) BHUJ AT MIL STN BHUJ AND KHAVDA

Disconnecting and dismantling the existing indoor type VCB/ outdoor RMU 11 KV horizontal draw out type VCB trolly of capacity 400/ 630 Amps from location and repair/ overhauling including replacement of damaged minor spare parts and carrying out with the following all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Major spare parts will be measured & paid seperately. (i) Inspecting/ overhauling of manual/ motorised spring drive mechanism by checking mechanism, motor and gear assembly, big gear assembly, stop bolt assembly, main shaft interlocking assembly, closing spring assembly, small cam with screw, motor cut-off limit switch, butter fly switch assembly, replacement of damaged control wiring DC/ AC for smooth function of VCB, testing of contact resistance, insulation resistance and apply multi grease lubricant to function smoothly. (ii) Inspecting/ overhauling of tripping assembly, earth fault release assembly, tripping coil, auxiliary switch and checking of electrical wiring system, replacement of control wire fuse, MCB and connected accesories all as specfied and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (iii) Inspecting/ overhauling/ cleaning and inspecting through insulators, vacuum interuptors by carbon cleaner solution and apply dry graphite conductive sealant for electrical contacts to avoid carbon deposits on contact surfaces. (iv) Assembling all items/ components parts to the respective position & testing the breaker with High Voltage(DC) and meggering before and after high voltage test complete. (v) Overhauling, calibration and secondary injection of over current earth fault relays/ release on each multiple setting readjustment by artificial load complete all as specified including testing complete. (vi) Contarctor should contact PGVCL for proper tripping paramters and same should be set such that proper coordination is maintained in tripping between PGVCL VCB and MES incoming VCB and between sub feeder VCB in MES power house and the same to be record and submitted to Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for comprehensive maintanence of following transformer any type, Opening the top cover of the transformer carefully at site and draining of transformer oil, and removing the core and windings for finding out the fault and refixing the same after repairs, refilling and or topping up with new transformer oil confirming to IS-335 of 1993 having suitable dielectric strength, including all tests of transformer to be done as per standared, cleaning of transformer & its parts using proper cleaner if transformer can not be repaired, the same shall be transported to workshop to carry out repair & rewinding and back as approved by Engineer-in-Charge complete of the follwing sizes:- Note : (a) Transformer oil shall be measured and paid separetely. (b) Spare parts will be measured & paid in appropiate item of schedule. (c) Opening and assembling of transformer shall be carried out at the presense of officials. (d) Labour charges shall be deemmed to be included for replacement of parts mentioned here- in-before/ here-in-after. (e) Test Report after concluding all test shall be submitted with duly signed by licensed technician.

Removal of burnt HT coil winding and replacement of the same with new copper wire coil including necessary insulation material like impregnated paper or super enamelled and keeping the core and windings in to the hot air oven till the moisture evaporate and achieving proper insulation resistance complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour, earthing complete for machinary/ equipment installed at power house/ sub station with galavanised steel earth plate electrode of size 60 cm x 60 cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less then 2.25 meter deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less then 1.5 meter below normal Ground level connected galvanised earth strip 32 X 6mm by means of bolts, nuts, washers and check nuts all shown in electrical plate No. 5 of SSR Part- I connected to main board/ disribution board complete. Earthing GI lead and GI protection pipe 15mm dia light grade upto 7.5 meter from earth pit connecting to machinary/ equipment, testing point, all as specified and testing on completion all as per directed. Note :- (i) The unit rate shall also included for earth work in hard/ dense soil, PCC type C-1 (1:3:6) chamber, PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 cover 50mm thick reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars,150mm c/c both ways, funnel with watering pipe 20mm dia medium graded, GI protection pipe light grade 15mm dia and wire mesh complete in addition to items No. 1 (a) to (e) of preamble (notes) under sub heading earthing specified on SI page No. 389 of SSR Part - II. (ii) Earthing strip and GI protection pipe beyond 7.5 meters will be measured and paid separatelly if required under appropriate Schedule. (iii) Earthing shall be tested as specified in casual 19.137 of SSP PART- I 2009, to the entire satisfication of Engr-in-Charge. (iv) On testing after completion of earthing, if the desired earth resistance is not obatined the earthing wiil be redone by the contractor at his on risk and cost to the entire satisfaction of the Engr-in-charge.

Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/ pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing as required 32 X 6mm dia galvanised steel strip complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for restringing of HT/ LT ACSR OH line 3 wire conductor upto permissible sag after dismantling the binding wires from insulators and jumper connections complete and providing with new aluminium conductors as binding wire of existing size with insulators and jumpers all as specified by Engineer-in-charge. (suitable size ladder and tripod shall be provided by contractor). Note- Three line together will be measured as one length.
