Starter should be capable enough to handle the following faults like short circuit, over current, under cuttent, over voltage, under volatage, dry run protection and phase loss with LED On/ Off and Trip indicators, Power Quality monitoring and Controlling relay at the incomer Feeder, Should be fitted with surge suppressor Device suiable to protect against class 1 & 2 Surges. Energy Saving varibale frequency starter of 125 HP heavy Duty for smooth start and smooth stop of centrifugal pumps and for the energy conservation in the system. It shold be caable to control the frequency of pumps through out the operation and also should be capable to maintain he power factor of th system within acceptable limits.
