(b) (1) In case of tenders for composite works (e.g. worksinvolvingmorethan one distinct component, such as CivilEngineering works,S&Tworks, Electrical works, OHE works etc. andin the case of majorbridges -substructure, superstructure etc.),tenderer must havesuccessfullycompleted or substantiallycompleted any one of thefollowing categoriesof work(s) during last07 (seven) years, endinglast day of monthprevious to the one inwhich tender is invited: (i)Three similar workseach costing not lessthan the amount equal to30% of advertised valueof eachcomponent of tender, or (ii) Twosimilar works each costing notlessthan the amount equal to 40% ofadvertised value ofeachcomponent of tender, or (iii) One similarwork each costing notless thanthe amount equal to 60% ofadvertised value of eachcomponent oftender. Note for b(1):Separate completed works ofminimum requiredvalues shall also beconsidered for fulfilment oftechnical eligibilitycriteria for differentcomponents. The scope ofwork covered inother remainingcomponents shall be eitherexecuted by tendererhimself if he haswork experience asmentioned in clause 7 of 1.1.1 theStandard GeneralConditions ofContractor through subcontractorfulfilling therequirements as perclause 7 of the Standard GeneralConditions ofContract or jointlyi.e., partly himself and remainingthroughsubcontractor, with priorapproval of Chief Engineer inwriting.However, if required in tenderdocuments by way of SpecialConditions, aformal agreement dulynotarised, legally enforceablein the court of law,shall be executedby the main contractor withthe subcontractor for thecomponent(s)of work proposed to beexecuted by the subcontractor(s),and shallbe submitted along withthe offer for considering subletting ofthatscope of work towardsfulfilment of technical eligibility.Suchsubcontractor must fulfilltechnical eligibility criteria as follows:Thesubcontractor shall havesuccessfully completed at least oneworksimilar to work proposedfor subcontract, costing not less than35%value of work to besubletted, in last 5 years, ending last day ofmonthprevious to theone in which tender is invited through a workscontract.Note: forsubletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, nopreviousworkexperience of subcontractor shall be asked for by theRailway.In caseafter award of contract or during execution of workitbecomes necessaryfor contractor to change subcontractor,thesame shall be done withsubcontractor(s) fulfilling therequirementsas per clause 7 of theStandard General Conditions ofContract, withprior approval of ChiefEngineer in writing

However,in additionto workexperience certificates issued by any Govt.Organization,workexperience certificate issued by Public listedcompany havingaverageannual turnover of Rs 500 crore andabove in last 3financial yearsexcluding the current financial year,listed onNational Stock Exchange orBombay StockExchange,incorporated/registered at least 5 years prior tothe dateof closingof tender, shall also be considered provided 1.1.2 theworkexperiencecertificate has been issued by a person authorizedby thePubliclisted company to issue such certificates. In casetenderersubmitswork experience certificate issued by public listedcompany,the tenderershall also submit along with workexperiencecertificate, the relevantcopy of work order, bill ofquantities, billwise details of paymentreceived duly certified byCharteredAccountant, TDS certificates for allpayments receivedand copy offinal/last bill paid by company in supportof above workexperiencecertificate
