SPECIAL REPAIR/ REPLACEMENT OF E/M INFRASRUCTURE AT RUDRAPRAYAG AND GAUCHER UNDER GE 871 EWS

Dismantling and setting aside of old electric poles for re-use use within 50 metres including transporting to store and stacking steel poles with struts, any size and any type, complete all as specified and as directed.

Steel tubular swaged poles complete with mild steel base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and screws as specified, type-410, SP-31 (9.00 meters long), including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of zinc chrome primer after preparing the exposed surface and two coats of bitumiunous paint on embedded surfaces, including one No yellow strip and two Nos of black strip at 1.50 mts height from the grond level, fixing in repairs, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Excavation, earth work and concrete in foundation shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQ.

Sand cushioning to protection of underground cables, laid 8 Cm before laying and 15 Cm after laying of cable, and punned to form an overall layer of 18 Cm thick, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Punned thickness shall be measured.

Double wall corrugated HDPE pipe, orange colour, ISI marked, nominal size 50 mm dia with 38 mm inner dia, conforming to IS: 16205 Part-24, including connecting accessories i.e couplers, connectors, bends, sockets, for protection of electric cable, laying in trenches, duct or fixed to walls/ poles as required, complete all as specified and as directed. Make: Prince/ Finolex/ Astral/ RC Plasto/ Supreme.

Sub class ‘B’ bricks, modular size, brick covering laid dry, flat, transversally along the length of cable on sand cushioning for mechanical protection of cable, with width equal to the length of the brick, complete all as specified and directed.

Plain cement concrete M-10(1:3:6), type C-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate), as mass concrete in foundation, or in foundation of poles and stays, complete all as specified and as directed.

Plain cement concrete M-10(1:4:8), type D-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate), as mass concrete in foundation or in padding, or in foundation of poles and stays, complete all as specified and as directed.

Plain cement concrete M-15 (1:2:4), type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate), as in coping of pole's foundation including necessary form work, finish even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed.

Replacement of old unserviceable/ damaged LT XLPE cable with new XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 Volts grade, cross-sectional area 120 Sqmm, 3.50-core, laid in trenches or passing through pipes, including suitable lugs and accessories for making connections at both ends, complete all as specified and as directed.
