M & L for preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dust or dirt etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer (using paving bitumen having grade of VG 10) at 5 kg per 10 sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm (average) consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content (Paving bitumen VG 30 Grade) by weight of total mix (Design mix), rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint with 20% glass beads (intermixed) spread laid of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

Repair to potholes n.exc 1.00 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads etc cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth by applying tack coat @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm putting in bituminous macadam well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm, binded with 0.09 cum of stone chipping, 6.3mm size and again well rammed (incl supply of premixed macadum, binder and chippings), depth of pot holes n. exc. 30mm all as specified and directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces exceeding 50mm deep and area not exc. 100 mm deep area not excceding 400 Sqm all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of existing Unsurfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dust or dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer over unsurfaced water bound macadam (using paving bitumen having grade of VG 10) at 10 kg per 10 sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Premix bituminous macadam not exceeding 75 mm thickness (consolidated thickness) using hot mix plant and mechanical paver with 4% binder (paving grade bitumen any penetration) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing of cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions. Make : 3M, Dark eye and Road Star

Supply and fixing of solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. all as specified and directed. Supply and fixing of metal tubular delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed. Manufacturing, supplying and fixing Retroreflective regulatory sign board of size 900 mm dia meter made out of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated lens type retro -reflective sheeting as approved by Engineer-in-charge . Letter, symbols, borders etc. will be as per IRC - 67 with required colour scheme on the boards and with the high intensity grade A. The aluminium sheet to be riveted to M.S. frame of angle iron of size 40x40x4mm. The boards will be fixed to 1 No. 50x50 mm square post made of M.S. angle 50x50x4 mm, 4 m long welded to the frame with adequate anti-theft arrangement .Sheet work to be painted with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint over an under coat (primer) and back side of aluminium sheet to be painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint including appropriate priming coat complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Manufacturing, supplying and fixing retro reflective Mandatory / Regulatory sign boards of 900 mm diametre with support length of 3750 mm and made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - IV of ASTM-D 4956-01 in blue and silver white or other colour combination including subject matter, message (bi-lingual), symbols and borders etc. as per IRC ; 67:2001, pasted on substrate by an adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying heat and pressure conforming to class -2 of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same with suitable sized aluminium alloy rivets @ 20 cm c/c to back support frame of M.S. angle iron of size 25x25x3 mm along with theft resistant measures, mounted and fixed with 2 Nos. M.S. angles of size 35x35x5 mm to a vertical post made up to M.S. Demolition of cement concrete of any description and in any position (unreinforced) in ground floors/ paving not exceeding 15 cm thick (below or above GL) and disposing off rubbish off the premises of cantonment complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of stone slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in floors, aprons,dados etc laid, bedded and pointed in any mortar and removal of rubbish off the site complete all as specified & as directed.

Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footparth, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for chequred cement concrete coloured tiles of size 20 cm x 20 cm x 25 mm thick, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry (with grey cement and pigment) and including 15 mm thick in cement plaster in CM (1:6) for fixing tiles complete all as directed.

M & L for 25 mm thick cement concrete type B-0,1:2:4 (12.5 mm graded aggregate) as in padding to receive chequred tiling and all other similar works complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 100 mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub base and all other similar works complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of new or previously untreated surfaces of concrete and concrete based materials of any description and in any position over 10 cm width or girth and Material and labour for applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint on concrete surfaces over priming paint plaster coats complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling of old / unserviceable / damaged road furniture items like cat eye, solar cat eye and delineator of any description.

Dismantling of old / unserviceable / damaged Sign Boards of any description inclusive of MS post complete all as directed.
