PROVN OF DIGGING AND TRENCHING WORK REQUIRED FOR LAYING OF 6000 M UNDERGROUND CABLE FROM ATC TO BOTH ARRESTER BARRIERS AND ALTERNATE ATC FOR MODIFICATION OF LED LIGHTS ON ARRESTER BARRIER SYSTEM AT STN BHUJ

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5m wide and not exc. 1.5m in depth for foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes pier holes etc not exc. 10sqm on plan and not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in Soft/ loose soil soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning filling in soil and including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing excavated soil to a distance n.exc. 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level n.exc. 1.5m above the starting points complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour for sand cushioning for UG cables using dry river sand; gently punning down complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. ( Note : For measurement purpose punned thickness shall be considered)

Supply & lay ISI marked & conforming to IS - 5820 - 1970 unreinforced precast concrete cable cover Class LV, flate size 250mm X 150 mm X 40 mm in trenches as protection to LT UG cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Laying of under ground cable in trench, GI pipe,drainage section, ducted region etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:-LT Cables/singal cables shall be supplied by department to contractor free for fixing under schedule "B".

Material & labour for boring under roads / pavement / hard standing without disturbing the top surface by trench less technology using necessary machine including supply & inserting HDPE pipe of 150 mm dia suitable for 0.4 mpa working pressure for passing through the cables complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Necessary infrastructure required for boring shall be arranged by the Contractor at his own cost.

Supply and laying GI tubing 40 mm dia bore light grade laid in trenches / floor / fixing on pole / wall / roof for cable protection/fixed on roof for fixing of sheet with necessary fittings etc complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

Supply and laying GI tubing 50 mm dia bore light grade laid in trenches / floor / fixing on pole / wall / roof for cable protection/fixed on roof for fixing of sheet with necessary fittings etc complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, febricate, test and commisioning of factory made Junction box Single door of size 600x600x450 mm including locking arrangment cubical type dust proof , weather proof , vermin proof asthetically designed, having atleast IP -65 degree of ingress protection , fabricated from 3 mm thick FRP sheet with front & rear opening including 02 no port with 20 no terminal ,inlet/ outlet gland holes to be min 6 sqmm with cable sealing,cable gland type- nockel chromium plate brass double compression type cable gland fixed on the glnad plates with dummy plug including made out of 14 guage MS sheet over angle iron frame of size 50x50x6mm , 60 cm grouted in ground floor and 60 cm above GL including necessary excavation ,foundation .PCC etc complete duly powder coated of approved color etc complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour for earthing complete with Copper earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx3.15mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to depth not less than 2.25mtr below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5mtr below normal ground level connected to and including copper strip of 20x3mm as earth lead upto 7.5mtr long fixed by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers etc. of brass including provn of GI protection pipe light grade of 32/40mm bore and connected to earth strip earthing test point all as shown in electrical plate No.5 of SSR Part-I 2009 and as specified or indicated and testing on completion including necessary excavation & earthwork in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, precast slab 50mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 (reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (XPM) of weight not less than 4kg/sqm) with frame, funnel with watering pipe of 15mm bore Sch 40, wire mesh and lugs, test point etc. complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: copper strip exceeding 7.5m long shall be measured & paid separately.
