Upgradation and Maintenance of Link Road NH-95 TO Mehdoodan via Bhagwanpura Madpur Lopon Mehdoodan Block Samrala Under PMGSY-III (Batch-1)

Clearing and Grubbing Road Land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of girth upto 300 mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, upto a lead of 1000 m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per Technical Specification Clause 201.

Excavation for roadway in soil by mechanical means including cutting and pushing the earth to site of embankment upto a distance of 100 m, including trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross-sections.

Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5

Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a lift upto 1.5 mtr. Transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with all lead as per MoRD Specification clause 301.5

Dismentling of flexible pavements & disposel of dismentled materials upto lead of 100m stacking serviceable & un serviceable materials seperately as per Technical Specification clause 202. & Scarifying Existing Bituminous Surface to a Depth of 150 mm by Mechanical Means.

Loosening, Levelling and Compacting original ground supporting embankment to facilitate placement of first layer of embankment, scarified to a depth of 150 mm, mixed with water at OMC and then compacted by rolling so as to achieve minimum dry density as given in Tables 300.1 and 300.2 for embankment construction as per Technical Specification Clause 301.4.1

Providing and laying of Brick on end edging 6.83cm wide, 11.11cm long and 22.86cm high half brick deep including excavation, refilling and disposal of surplus earth up to 50mtr complete as per Punjab PWD specifications

Granular Sub Base - Construction of granular sub base by Laying and consolidation of scarified / dismantled pavement material by adding 20% coarse sand as per specification, carrying the stone metal from stacks, spreaded in uniform layer on prepared surface, mixing in place with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per MoRD specification clause 401.

Granular Sub Base (Grading-I) - Construction of granular sub base by providing well graded material (Grade-I), spreaded in uniform layers on prepared surface, mixing in place with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per MoRD specification clause 401

Water Bound Macadam (Grading -I) - Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening ype-A/ binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to therequired density grading 1 as per MoRD Specification Clause 405.

Water Bound Macadam (Grading -II) -Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates wbm GR-II) of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening type-B to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 2 as per MoRD Specification Clause 405.

Providing and laying 80mm thick factory made cement concrete interlocking paving blocks of M-40 grade manufactured by block making machine euipped with steel mould clamped to a srong vibratory table with hydraulic pressure for/shape laid in ordinary Grey colour and pattern over and including 40mm thick compacted bed coarse sand filling the joints with fine sand etc.

Primer Coat - Providing and applying primer coat with Bitumen Emulsion (Slow Setting-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate 0.85 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per MoRD specification clause 502

Bituminous macadam -Providing and laying bituminous macadam with hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of grading as per Table 500.4 premixed with bituminous inder VG-10 @ 3.4% transported to site upto a lead of 1000 m laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled to achieve the desired compaction as per Technical Specification Clause 504.

Tack Coat - Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen VG-10 using tar boiler / pressure distributor at the rate of 0.275 kg. per sqm on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer & cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per MoRD specification clause 503

20mm Thick Open Graded Premix Carpet - Providing, laying and rolling of open graded premix carpet of 20mm thickness composed of 13.2mm to 5.6mm aggregates using itumen (VG-10 @92% i.e 1.3432kg/sqm & Plastic Waste @8% i.e 0.1168 Kg per sqm)to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared Base, including mixing in a suitable plant, transported to site, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 KN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to e followed by seal coat of Type ‘B as per MoRD specification clause 508.

Seal Coat - Providing and laying seal coat using Bitumen VG-10 for sealing the voids in bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type ‘B’ as per MoRD specification clause 510.

Providing and making rumble strips 15-20mm high at centre, 250mm wide placed at 1m centre to centre over freshly laid bituminous layer by using close graded premix surfacing material type B at approved locations to control speed and marked with 100mm wide white strips of thermoplastic road marking paint. The close graded premix surfacing material type B shall conform to technical clause 512 and thermoplastic road marking paint shall conform to technical clause 803 of MORT&H specifications

Earth work in excavation for foundation of structures upto 3 m depth as per drawing and tech. specifications clause 1104 including setting out, const. of shouring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter,dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling with approved material

MS square tubes posts 75mm x 4.9mm thick duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 600mm x 600mm x 750mm, 750mm below ground level. All M.S. will be stove enameled on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1

The angle iron frame welded to 1 no. MS square tubes post 75mm x 4.9mm thick duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 600mm x 600mm x 750mm, 750mm below ground level. The top diamond plates (600 mm) and definition / arrow plate (1100mm x 300mm) will be welded to MS post. All M.S. will be stove enameled on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1

All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1
