Jetty with covered shed of area 12000 Sq mtr ( Jetty 7000 Sq mtr + wet basin 5000 Sqm) is designed berthing of special ships and submarines. This area is being used for berthing, repair and refit of special vessels. Large amount of garbage is generated by ships/ submarines berthed at jetty including the yard personnel working in the premises to undertake the repair/refit of vessels. Sensitive equipment’s are placed in the surrounding area. There is a requirement to maintain jetty area including the surrounding areas in a hygienic condition at all times. Sweeping, cleaning and mopping of entire area inside and outside shed to be undertaken twice a day (Including Sundays and holidays)
Entire jetty area inside and outside the shed is to be properly cleaned with water jet washing on daily basis (Including Sundays and holidays)
Float-sem (floating garbage) to be removed from the wet basin (water) inside the shed on daily basis (Including Sundays and holidays)
Vegetation growth, if any on the water wall and surrounding areas to be removed regularly.
Proper Sanitization of the area to be carried out with spraying of bleaching powder twice a day (Including Sundays and holidays).
Garbage of all types (food waste, incinerable/ non-incinerable/ bio-degradable/ non-bio degradable material and metal waste) to be collected from ship/submarine/ vessels berthed inside covered jetty and from attached utility buildings twice a day and stored at earmarked places. (Including Sundays and holidays).
Garbage of all types (food waste, incinerable/ non-incinerable/ bio-degradable/ non-bio degradable material and metal waste) generated during repair and refits of vessels present in the premises to be collected from jetty area twice a day and stored at earmarked places. (Including Sundays and holidays).
Garbage of all types (food waste, incinerable/ non-incinerable/ bio-degradable/ non-bio degradable material and metal waste) collected to be disposed off to GVMC Dump Yard.
Based on the past experience and analysis of scope of work, indicative essential bare minimum man power required to undertake the given scope work is (i) Supervisors: 01 Nos. (iii) Labourers: 10 Nos
