REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF LT CONTROL PANELS, ACBS, MCCBS, LT CABLES, EARTHING AND SWITCHES AT GE (AF) NALIYA

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/ loose soil, for under ground electric cable, pipes etc all as directed and specified. Note: (i) Authorised width & depth shall only be excavated, measured and paid as specified in clause 3.2.3 of SSR part II and 19.74.1 of SSR part I for cable/pipe laying portion. (ii) Serviceable PCC /RCC cable cover obtained during excavation shall be stacked separately carefully without any extra cost to the Deptt.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layer not exceeding 25cm thick each complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50 meter above the starting point complete all as specified and directed at site

M & L for providing river bed fine sand in trenches/ ducts 10cm under cable and 8 cm above the cable for cushioning/protection to cable including spreding, levelling and get thick 18cm after hand punning complete all as specified and directed at site.

Laying only serviceble un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover (obtained from item No.1.00 above), class LV, Type 1, flat, of 250 mm x 150 mm x 40 mmobtained from trenches ,abetting each other with gap between adjacent slab not exceeding 10 mm over under cable for protection complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying & laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class LV,Type 1, flat, size 250 mm x 150 mm x 40 mm abetting each other with gap between adjacent slab not exceeding 10mm over under cable for protection.

M& L for cutting under the road /pavement /hard standing or in any other situation with the help of mannual labour (bocki) for crossing of U/G cable through it and making both the end good complete all as specified and directed .

Supply and laying , connecting in repairs new XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty electric cable with multi stranded aluminium conductors, 1100V grade, of size 10 Sqmm 2 core laid in trenches / ducts / through GI pipe / fixed to poles etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Excavation earthwork, cable covers, sand cushioning and GI protection pipe shall be measured and paid separately under relevent item.

Taking out old unserviceable LT cable of any size any type from trench/duct/poles/roof/pipe etc and keeping aside for segregation of serviceabilty. Serviceable cable will be re-laid at same place or other place as directed by EIC.

Labour only for re-laying of old seviceable cable of any size and type obtained from item above. Note: Excavation earthwork, cable covers, sand cushioning and GI protection pipe shall be measured and paid separately under relevent item.

Laying only LT cable of 185/240/300Sqmm size after taking out unserviceable LT UG cables of any size, by excavation and earth work in any type of soil, removing bricks or PCC cover of any size and type complete all as specified and directed Note:- (i) Excavation, Joints & Jointing materials, new cable, additional bricks/PCC Covers, sand shall be measured & paid for separately. (ii) LT Cable of any size to be provided by MES from store yard and old retrived materials shall be taken under schedule of credit (iii) Carrying charge is deemed to be included in unit rate

M & L for mild steel black sheet of 1.6mm thickness in hearths; covering to door shut ters; covering to doorchowkats (frames); chullah hoods; water tanks; water troughs; ducts; urinal troughs and funnels, etc. cut to size edges eaded if directed, holes punched; including round headed screws, clout nails or rivets and fixed to wood or steel members, etc. with plain 40 mm lap joints or welded/ riveted seams including bending, turning up, mitred angles, stopped ends, outlets, etc. as directed by EIC.

M & L for disconnecting power supply from HT VCB /OCB/RMU of capacity 11 KV for repair works , taking out trolly unit & complete servicing of the VCB through decarbonising , cleaning the male /female isolating contacts, lubricating moving part , cleaning with CRC removing dust particles from bus bar chamber, spout gear mechanism and moving parts, repair to motor charge spring mechanism, tightening all nuts and bolts of entire trolley, checking proper operation of trolly, inserting trolley inside and testing on load complete all as specified and directed.Make: Crompton/ABB/Siemens/C&S

M & L for servicing ,calibration of all type control relays such as digital earth fault/over current relay , IDMT relay , master trip relay other Aux relays , etc fixed on 11 KV VCB/OCB/RMU for over current and earth fault settings with all respects and making all tripping setting, time delay setting , for smooth functioning of all controls of HT panel including servicing of CTs , PTs , testing with primary injection test kit for load settings and timings of relays , setting tripping and closing of VCB/RMU/ SF-6 breakers complete all as specified and directed. Make: Crompton/ABB/Siemens/C&S

Supply & Fix in replacement digital four pole non directional Microprocessor based IDMTL 3 over current + 1 Earth fault with instantaneous element relay with high set & RS 485 , Aux. supply 20-110 volt DC model MC 61CNX of Make L&T or equivalent models of crompton/ ABB/Siemens / Areva complete with all connection and testing on load .

M&L for surface excavation n.exc (not exceeding) 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep for cleaning, grass cutting, small trees, unwanted vegitations, grubbing up tree trunk including cutting of trunk portion protruding over ground, digging out roots, filling holes and leveling off ground in the installations/sub stations and removing cut grass, roots and trees complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge

M & L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 x 60cm x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr deep below GL with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal GL and connected to earth plate . Earth plate surrounded by 15 cm thick packed layers of charcoal dust and common salt upto 1.5 meter depth all around the earth plate and connected to earth lead of GI strip 32x6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvd iron or steel and thimbles and other end of the earth wire connected to Plant/equipment and protected by galvanized iron or steel pipe light grade 15 mm bore and water pipe 20mm bore GI medium grade with funnel and wire mesh strainer, including all necessary excavation and earth work PCC chamber in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 and RCC cover and all as shown in electrical plate No.5 of MES schedule Pt I of 2009 and also including making test point for testing of earthing made out of gun metal or phosphorous bronze size 75x75x25 mm complete . Note: (a) RCC pit cover shall be pre-cast of RCC (1:2:4) type B-I , 80mm thick reinforced with XPM weighting not less than 4 KG/sqmm in lieu of CI cover. (b) Charcoal dust and common salt upto 1.5 meter depth shall be filled in layers of 15cm all around the earth plate inside earth pit. On testing after completion of earthing if desired earth resistance is not achieved , the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to obtain the desired earth values less than 2 ohms.

All as per item No 32 above but, using copper earth plate electrodeof size 60cmx60cmx3.15mm and copper strip of size 25mmx3mm complete all as specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES schedule Pt I of 2009

Taking down ACSR conductor including binding wire , GI earth wire/ LT cable of any size from existing poles etc complete all as directed.

Supply & fixing of MCCB of capacity 415 volts 3 pole 100 Amps 16 KA with fixed thermal & magnetic settings incl taking out unserviceable MCCB from panels & connections of cables with thimbles etc incl taking out cable from loop complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No.35 above but, of capacity 200 amps 35 KA 3 pole fixed thermal & magnetic settings.

Supply & fixing of MS CRCA sheet enclosure of 2mm sheet thickness duly painted with fixing arrangement for housing MCCB of including supply and fixing in MCCB of capacity 415 volts 4 pole 100 Amps 10KA with fixed thermal & magnetic settings including & connections of cables with thimbles etc incl. taking out cable from loop complete all as directed and specified

Supply and laying/ fixed in repairs, galvanised steel water tubing of 80 mm bore, light grade, IS-1239 marked with all fittings IS marked and laid in trenches under roads in drains, fixed to poles/walls with suitable size flat iron/ GI clamps, bolts, nuts and washers etc., for cable protection, complete; all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No. 38 but, of size 50mm bore.
