SOIL INVESTIGATION FOR 528.6M BRIDGE AT PIER/ ABUTMENT LOCATION (MARINE POINTS) UNDER WP-10B FOR PROJECT VARSHA AT VISAKHAPATNAM
Mobilisation and Demobilisation of suitable Floating pontoon/Projection Equpment Boat and Rotary drilling Rig with all accessories drill rods, casting pipes, testing equipment etc. Rate includes transportation of men and material location as shown and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Shifting of equipment with all accessories as in item No.1 above from one location to another location. Rate includes charges for all labor and material.
Boring 6" dia in all types of soils up to rock strata and collection of samples. Drilling NX size boring up to 3mtr in to rock and collection of core samples in rock. Conducting standard penetration test(SPT) as per IS : 2131-1963. Carrying out the following laboratory tests on collected soil samples and testing on rock samples as per the requirement:- (a) Natural Moisture Content (b) Bulk density & Dry density. (c) Specific Gravity (d) Grain Size Distribution (e) Atterberg Limits (f) Unconfined compression strength. (g) Triaxial compression test. (h) Direct shear permeability test. (j) Type of characteristics of Rock. (k) Engineering prorerties of Rock.
Submission of reports consisting of bore logs, data sheets with laboratory test results and recommendations for the type of foundation including Pile capacities and socketing depth for 1000dia and 1200 dia Piles
