M&L for earthing complete with Copper earth plate electrode 60cm×60cm× 3.15mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less'than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to Copper lead strip 20x3 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel including provn of GI protection pipe light grade of 40mm bore and connected to earth strip earthing test point all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of SSR Part-I 2009 and as specified or indicated and testing on completion including necessary excavation & earthwork in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 chamber, precast slab 50mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 (reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (XPM) of weight not less than 4kg/sqm) with frame, funnel with watering pipe of 15mm bore medium grade, wire mesh and lugs, test point including salt, Coal etc. complete all as specified & directed. Note:- Copper strip exceeding 7.5m long shall be measured & paid separately.The earth resistance value shall be less than 3 ohm. Failing to achieve the value, the contractor shall be re do the earthing without any extra cost.

M&L for chemical earthing complete with Copper earth plate electrode 90cmx60cm x 5 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to depth not less than 3.00 mtr below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to and including Copper strip of 32x6mm as earth lead up to 7.5 mtr long fixed by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers etc. of galvanised iron or steel including provn of GI protection pipe light grade of 40mm bore and connected to earth strip earthing test point all as shown in electrical plate No.5 of SSR Part-I 2009 and as specified or indicated and testing on completion including necessary excavation & earthwork in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 chamber, precast slab 50mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 (reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (XPM) of weight not less than 4kg/sqm) with frame, funnel with watering pipe of 15mm bore medium grade, wire mesh and lugs, test point including salt (150Kg Approx), Coal (100Kg Approx) & Magnesium sulphate (100 Kg Approx) including returning filling with cultivated soil from near by source etc. complete all as specified & directed. Note:- copper strip exceeding 7.5m long shall be measured & paid separately.The earth resistance value shall be less than 1 ohm. Supply & fix Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screw complete all as specified & direced.

Supply & fix single pointed air termination copper rod 12mm dia, 300 mm long complete all as specified & directed.

Supply & fix GI pipe 1.5 RM long medium grade vertically fixed by means of PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (by using 20mm crushed broken stone aggregate) of size 2x2x1.5 Cubic Feet for mounting of Copper air termination rod complete all as speicified & directed.

Supply & fix in repair earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation with suitable size insulators for loop earthing etc. as required 32 x 6 mm GI strip including welding at joints complete all as specified & directed.

Supply & fix in repair earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 32 x 6 mm copper strip with suitable size of insulators including brazing at joints complete all as specified & directed.

Supply & fix in repair earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 20 x 3 mm copper strip with suitable size of insulators including brazing at joints complete all as specified & directed.

M & L in replacement of earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground earth pit with adequate quantity of charcoal and dust and common salt , not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level connected to & including galvanised earth lead wire 4 mm dia drawn through GI protection pipe of size ordered specified for protection of earthing lead from earth electrode to test point/main DB from mechanical injury or tempering by means of nuts and bolt check nuts and washers of galvanised iron sheet all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part - I and connected to earthing test point complete including testing, refilling earth and removal of surplus soil upto 50 mtrs, PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 chamber precast RCC cover 40 mm thick reinforced with 6 mm dia MS bar 3 Nos both way with handle made out of 6 mm dia MS bar water pipe with wire mesh and connecting testing etc complete all as specified and directed.
