Excavation in trenches in soft / loose soil not exceeting 1.5 Mtr wide and not exceding 1.5 Mtr in depth and getting out for taking out / laying of cables, erection of poles / strut / stays etc and not exceeding 10 sqm on plan complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in the any type of soil including spreading, levelling, watering and ramming in layers not exc. 25 cms complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material of any type of soil not exceeding 50 Mtr away and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for sand cushioning in cable trenches over & under the cables, with river washed coarse sand, as per standard practice with proper compaction complete all as specified and directed. (Punned thickness 18 cm shall be considered for payment as per para 19.75 of SSR Part-I).

Supply & Laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover type-1 Class IV, size of 250 mm x 150 mm x 40 mm laid dry in trenches for under groung cable protection complete all as specifed and directed.

Manning and operation of external electric complaints for 08 hours on shift basis (each shift not exceeding 08 hours - 0900 Hrs to 1700 Hrs) including sundays and holidays by employing tradesmen (01 Skilled Electrician) for attending complaints pertaining to external electrification distribution system, overhead lines, under ground cable including connected equipment such as transformers, switch gears, LT panel boards, Feeder pillar boxes, street lights incl timers, jumpers, fuse wires, binding of insulators etc installed at the MILITARY STATION OP KHAVDA / BHUJ AREAS. The tradesman shall shall attend complaints as per the complaints lodged in complaint register / job card and obtain signature of users for completion of defectss complete all as specified and all as directerd by the Eng-in-charge. Notes :- i. The replacement of burnt out fuse wire shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch 'A' but the fixing charges of the same shall deem to be included in the quoted rates of this item. ii. The transportation of labour, tools and plants / equipment required to rectify the fault (s) of any nature at site will be the responsibility of the contractor. The quoted rates shall deem to be inclusive of this factor and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. iii. THe electrician shall be minimum ITI holder / job oriented courses in the respective trade with minimum three years experience in the trade. iv. The alternate tradesman shall be arranged by the contractor during the absence of existing tradesman. v. The tradespersons shall work at any location as directed by the Eng-in-charge. vi. No tradesmen shall leave the installation untill the reliever attends the duty.

Dismantling of old deteriorated ACSR Conductor, of any size , any type and supply and fix aluminium conductor, steel reinforced (ACSR), of any size, any type, as per existing one and stringing properly on the insulators and binding with aluminium wire, connectors, jumpers etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Measurement and payment shall be made by measuring horizontal distance between centres of two adjacent poles and adding 3 % for sag , jointings, jumpers etc.

Supplying, stringing and fixing of continuous GI earth wire of size 4 mm / 3.15mm dia on LT poles as in cradle guards / earth wires etc including binding complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking down existing unserviceable / serviceable MS work of angle iron or other section as in cross arm, clamps, nuts bolts etc from any type of pole in any position, stacking at site for inspection by Engineer-in-Charge to decide for reuse or depositing complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying, fabricating, fixing in position cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates, fabricated from in structural steel section any type /size /shape including nuts bolts washers, welding, bending hot or cold, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as required at site, including painting with two coats aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking down existing serviceable/ unserviceable / deshaped / worn out LT PCC pole of any shape, size & height including demolition of existing PCC foundation complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, erecting and fixing in true vertical position, Prestressed cement concrete pole 9 mtr long confirming to IS-1678 (latest) with minimum cross sectional area 102 mm x 152 mm at top and 102 mm x 289 mm at bottom , class - 10 with and Including all necessary excavation & earth work in any type of soil for foundation of poles, PCC 1:3:6 type (C-2) (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate ) in foundations of size 1.20 m X 0.60 m X 1.65 m below GL, PCC 1:2:4 type (B- 1 )(using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) in plinth block(coping) of size 600 X 600 X 300 mm above GL , removing surplus soil to a distance n. exc. 50 m & depositing where directed, including necessary form work and and providing 3 Nos of 30cm wide circular bands with black & yellow paint starting from plinth level at a gap of 30cm in between 2 bands and numbering of poles, and numbering of the poles shall be done with synthetic enameled painted letter of shape & size complete( M&L)all as specified and directed. (Note -SSR part I clause No.19.5 & 19.52 and other relevant clauses of SSR refers for execution of work and poles shall be procured directly from the manufacturer mentioned in tender documents.)

Unbinding of the ACSR conductor from the insulator on pole, restringing the conductors, tightening LT over head line, connector, jumper, screw nuts, bolts and binding to the insulators using required size aluminum binding wire complete all as directed.

S&F PVC insulated spacers, 12mm dia flexible type suitable for making / turning to any shape and size and suitable for 2 conductor runs including disconnecting, dismantling and taking down existing unserviceable spacers of any description and in any position from the LT electric overhead lines of any height complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : The spacer shall be of best quality and as per the sample kept in GE office.

S&F PVC insulated spacers, 12mm dia flexible type suitable for making / turning to any shape and size and suitable for 4 conductor runs including disconnecting, dismantling and taking down existing unserviceable spacers of any description and in any position from the LT electric overhead lines of any height complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : The spacer shall be of best quality and as per the sample kept in GE office.

Preparation of PCC/Steel tubular Poles not more than 8 mtr height from ground level for painting by cement based paint/aluminium paint incl surfaces of steel / MS cross arms, channels, clamps, street light brackets and GI protection pipes etc (any nos) which are fitted on LT single PCC pole, by scrapping and applying two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer and marking pole number on the same pole with yellow paint in black painted suitable back ground at a height of two metre above ground level & with 5 cm large bold letters also 2" wide colour strips painted with two coats of synthetic enamelled paint up to the height of 1.5 m from coping of pole all as specified and directed.

S&F pin type porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulators, including one galvanized mild steel spindle two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 100mm height and 65mm dia suitable for working pressure upto and including 1100 volts grade for LT lines fixed on poles complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Shackle type 75mm height and 90mm dia insulator, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green including galvanised mild steel strap 31mm X 3mm, insulator bolts 12mm dia with suitable washers and nut, suitable for working pressure upto & including 1100 volts fixed on LT poles complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of old unserviceable stay assembly, and Supply and fix Stay assembly complete with all accessories as shown in electrical plate no. 1 of SSR Part - I ,1991, using stay rod 16 mm dla including stay wire. Note :- Excavation , earth work , foundation concrete ,loop insulator, stay clamps, for the new stay shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of schedule

Testing of lightning conductor earthing with the help of earth tester in presence of users representative and recording the earth results in test register of each sub depot and MES register duly signed by OC of sub depot jointly signed by MES and users rap complete all as directed by EIC. Note :- The retreived materials have been mentioned in the Sch of credit in the tender documents in pdf form. The amount of Sch of credit will be deducted offline from the amount of BOQ at the time of acceptance.
