Excavation in hilly area in all heights and depths and in all kind of soil by manual/ mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rock, hard rock, chiseling, wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil, setting out true to the required lines, grades, cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown in the drawing and as directed by the engineer-in-charge at site according to the MORD technical specification section 300 and 1600 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of road and transportation of useful material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus material to the approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means along with its leveling, fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour if required. All useful material such as stones shungle, aggregate and slates etcetra shall be sorted out and stacked in proper stack. Recovery of useful stone to the tune of 158.75 cum ( one hundred fifty eight decimal seven five cubic metres) quantity at the rate of 300/-(Rupees Three hundred) per cubic metre shall be effected from the contractor's running bills on pro-rata basis as per actual quantity executed. Any loss to the public, private / property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases including carriage of matereials within all leads , lifts and other incidentals The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, and any other taxes imposed by the Government, but excluding GST.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetera in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock chiseling /wedging out rocks (Where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and M.O.R.D. technical specification section 300 amd 1600 and as per direction of the Engineer- In-Charge including setting out, shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto any lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm (one hundred fifty milimetres) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and any quantam of water including cleaning of slush which may arrise out during dewatering as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material, within all leads, lifts of materials and other incidentals. Providing and Laying mechanically mixed and vibrated plain cement concrete as per drawings and MORD technical specifications section 800, 900, 1200 and 1600 nominal mix 1:4:8 (One cement isto Four sand isto Eight graded/crushed stone aggregate) 40mm (Forty milimetres) nominal size) for all type of structure like retaining wall / Breast wall etcetera including cost of form work and curing complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge including carriage of material, within all leads, lifts of materials and other incidentals. Back filling with granular material behind abutments, wing walls, return walls and retaining walls complete in road structure as per drawing and M.O.R.D. technical specifications section 1200 and 1600 and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. Providing and laying (to level or slope) 900mm (Nine Hundred millimeter) diameter ISI marked reinforced cement concrete heavy duty non pressure pipes I.S class NP-3 for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including providing and fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 (one cement : two sand) but excluding the cost of excavation, protection works, back filling, concrete bedding and masonary work in head walls and parapets etcetera as per drawing and MORD technical specification section 1100 as per the direction and the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying ISI marked factory made chamfered edge Cement Concrete paver blocks NTC having thickness 80 mm of M-50 grade with approved color design and pattern in road, of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over 50mm thick compacted bed of sand,compacting and proper embedding/laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand. The concrete paving block shall confirm to the relevant IRC code and MORD Technical specification section 1500 complete as per the direction and the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.
