Civil maintenance work of Nizampura Housing Colony boundary wall at HWBF, Vadodara.

Amount

Demolishing of RCC, PCC by mechanical/hand means and stock piling at designated locations, chipping, etc. and disposing off all the debris outside the colony premises, stacking, serviceable and unserviceable material so separately including cutting, reinforcement, etc. complete as directed.

Demolishing brickwork masonary by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material disposing of all debris outside the Colony premises at the risk and cost of the contractor and as directed by the Engineer.

Removing existing barbed wire/chain link fencing from the M.S. angle post, removing of angle post on top of existing wall and coiling in bundle in proper manner and depositing it in HWP Store including scaffolding, etc. complete as directed by Engineer.

Earth work in excavation in all types of soils for foundation, trenches or drains not exceeding 1.5 M in depth and getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated earth outside the plant premises at risk and cost of the Contractor, etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete (1:2:4) (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) of approved quality in foundation, plinth, payements, (plinth beams and under floor)including ramming, leveling, curing, form work,shuttering wherever necessary etc. all complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer.

Providing and fixing, centering and shuttering including strutting propping, etc. for RCC works including removal of form work after concreting for foundation footing base of Column, PCC, Plinth, beams, coping, slab, etc. complete as directed by the Engineer.

Providing,laying & fixing in position TMT bars of grade Fe 500 D (IS 1786) or more for reinforcement at all levels, for RCC in situ work including cost of straightening, cutting, bending & binding with 16 gauge MS annealed binding wire, cement mortar spacer blocks, etc. all complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer.

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete M-20 using approved size of graded stone aggregate and proportion 1:1.5:3 (1 part cement : 1.5 sand : 3 aggregate 20mm down gauge graded stone aggregate of approved quality including consolidating, leveling, finishing, curing, etc. all complete at all levels upto 15 meter height as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer but excluding cost of reinforcement bars including compaction and curing, etc. complete and laying at reinforcement for reinforced concrete work in foundations, footings, bases of columns, walls, suspended floors, roofs laying shelves and their supports balconies, lintels, beams, girders, cantilever columns as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer. ( Excluding cost of centering and shuttering. )

Providing and laying brick masonry using burnt clay bricks of class designation 7.5 for walls/pillars/steps/trenches, etc. at all levels & in foundation and plinth with cement mortar 1:6 including cost of raking of joints, curing, including providing RCC band at indicated levels (RCC band will be paid separately), etc. all complete at all levels as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer.

Providing and laying 15mm thick plaster in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand) finished with a floating coat of neat cement inside surface proportion over brick masonry walls upto 15 mtr. height and concrete surfaces including raking of joints, hacking of concrete surfaces, curing, scaffolding, providing grooves etc. all complete as per drawings,specifications and as directed by the Engineer.

Providing, fabricating, erecting and fixing in position at all heights upto a maximum height of 15 mtrs. With welded/bolted connection to all structural steel works for platform, stairs, ladders, beams, joints, bracings, columns, built up Section, etc. by using plates, beams, channels, angles, pipes, etc. conforming to IS 2062 of approved manufacturer including cost of all material labours, tools land tackles, machines, safety appliances, scaffolding, eltc. and painting with two coats of Epoxy paint (two or more coats) of approved make and shade over a coat of suitable primer, etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer.

Encasing rolled steel sections,beams and columns,with cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 Cement: 2 Coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 12.5 mm nominal size) including centering and shuttering complete but excluding cost of reinforcement.

Providing and fixing 12G, 2 ply, 4 barbed (wt. @ 9.38 kg/100M) G.I. barbed wires fixed to the M.S. angles posts in specified rows including fixing with G.I. `U' nails to angle posts, etc. complete as directed.

Providing and applying two or more coats of exterior emulsion of Premium Acrylic smooth exterior paint with silicon addetive of APEX of ASIAN or equivalent make of approved brand and manufacturer and of required shade applied @ 1.43 lit/10 Sqm.over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.2 kg/10 Sqm to give an even shade; including cost of scaffoldings, etc. at all heights as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer.(In any case it will not be permitted to carry out the job without proper metallic scaffolding and platform at height more than 2.5 m)

Providing and fixing G.I. chain link fabric fencing of required width in mesh size 25x25 mm made of G.I. wire of dia 3 mm including strengthening with 2 mm dia wire or nuts, bolts and washers as required complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Carting and disposing off all rubbish, broken concrete brick garbage, waste, papers and material outside the colony to HWBF,Vadodara (Approx. 4 KM) plant premises in the designated area as and when required at the risk and cost of the Contractor including all labours, tools and tackles, transport, etc. complete by help of Tractor trailer @ 3 m3 capacity (approx.)

Supplying and filling in plinth coarse goma sand under floors including watering, ramming,consolidating and dressing etc. complete and as directed.

Providing and making 20mm wide and 15 mm deep grooves in the plaster at the junctions of RCC and masonry, etc. complete as directed.
