REPAIRS AND REPLACEMENT OF AC/CI/GI PIPE LINES AND MAINTENANCE INCLUDING M AND O OF RO PLANTS, IRON REMOVAL

Manning, maintenance, operation and running of central Sewage treatment plant comprising of LT panel, starters, change over and other panels in two shifts (each shift of eight hrs continuous duration) per day including Sunday and holidays for operation of Sewage treatment plant as specified in notes below and directed by Engineer in charge. The area of operation and details of shift mainly comprise of the following :-

SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT IN DOMESTIC AREA 02 Shifts (each shift of eight hours continuous duration) 1st shift start from 06:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs and 2nd shift starts from 14:00 hrs to 22:00 hrs.

SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT BEHIND CWE COMPLEX 02 Shifts (each shift of eight hours continuous duration)1st shift start from 06:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs and 2nd shift starts from 14:00 hrs to 22:00 hrs.

Notes applicable for Sl item No. 1.01 to 1.02 above : - Rate quoted under this item is deemed to include the following works and as specified :-

i) Cleaning of bar screen chamber and removing of screen material daily/weekly as directed.

ii) Operation of submersible sewage pumps in equalisation chamber and sludge pump including carefully cleaning of sensor weekly.

iii) Operation of Aerator motor in aeration tank including necessary valve operations.

iv) Operation of clarifier installed in the clarifier well including necessary oiling and greasing on weekly basis

v) Operation of valves to return the sludge in aerator from sludge sump and filling up of sludge drying bed.

vi) The operation of 50 KVA DG set in case of electric supply not available.

vii) Switching ON & OFF of the street lights around central sewage treatment plant as per time schedule directed by Engineer-In-Charge .

viii) Cleaning the vegetation in surrounding area of the installation as directed by EIC

ix) Rate to be quoted for two shifts at one location)

x) Records are to be kept for the executed works as per the formats provided by the Engineer in charge and the same shall be produced to the Engineer in charge for verification.

Manning, maintenance, operation and running of RO plants at Mundra Road of AF Stn Bhuj with one FGM operation in each shift for the shifts (ie two shift per day each shift of 08 hours 1st shift start 06:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs and 2nd shift starts from 14:00 hrs to 22:00 hrs ) including Sunday and Gazetted holidays for operation of plant including operation of connected valves, maintain equipment in perfect conditions, maintaining proper timing of shift duties, maintaining proper condition of equipments, cleaning of installations and surrounding area as directed by Engineer in charge. The installations mainly comprises of 2 Nos RO Plants including:- (a) FRP sand filter - 01 No (b) High pressure pump 5.5 KW, 2.4 cum/hr - 01 No (c) Booster pump - 01 No (d) Control panel Board - 01 No (e) FRP pressure vessel - 01 No (f) Pump House bldgs including connected accessories, internal wiring, valves

Note : - Applicable to BoQ item no 2.00 : - (i) Rate to be quoted is for two shifts for two RO plants. (ii) The cost for M&L for minor repairs like replacement of main switch, fuse wire, leakage through valves will be deemed to be included in quoted rates glands/ pipe/ gasket etc (in the opinion of GE as minor). (iii) Measurement of shift will not be made if power supply failure for more than half day due to which plant remain unoperated. (iv) Water required for treatment will be supplied by Govt. (v) In case of water supply failure and plant remain unoperated then no payment will be made/ no measurement of shift will be made for payment. (vi) The quoted rate is deemed to include to provide labour facility/arrangement of filling of treated water to consumer and avoid wastage of water along with testing of water sample at different points for residual chlorine and recording in log sheets including testing equipments/tolidine solution. (vii) Contractor shall maintain the premises to be in hygenic condition including pump

Manning, maintenance, operation and running of Pachora Pump house consisting of centrifugal pump sets of capacity 5 to 40 HP comprising of LT panels, star delta starter and chlorinator any type during pumping/supply of water to different OHR for chlorination, etc and DG set of capacity 50 KVA complete in three shifts per day (each shift of 08 hrs continuous duration) all as specified.(a) Pachora Pump House - three Shift with 1 FGM for Domestic and Tech areas. 1st shift start 06:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs, 2nd shift start 14:00 hrs to 22:00 hrs 3rd shift start 22:00 hrs to 06:00 hrs.

Outsourcing of services for maintanance and operation and running of all the installations at Lakhond pump house consisting of submersible motor pump sets of capacity 50 HP , comprising of LT panel, oil immersed auto transformer, starter etc, DG set of capacity 100 KVA complete in three shifts per day (each shift of 8 hrs continuous duration) all as specified. 1st shift start 6.00 AM to 02.00PM. 2nd shift start 2.00PM to 10.00 PM 3rd shift start 10.00PM to 06.00 AM (Approximate installations - Submersible pump set 50 HP - 01No, connected panels and starter etc, DG set of capacity 100 KVA -01 No.)

Note :- Applicable to BOQ item No 3.00 & 4.00. (a) Record of running of installations shall be maintained in log book. (b) Ph value/chlorine test should be carried out by the pump operator immediately after starting the pump and record it in the register. (c) Free chlorine in drinking water test kit shall be provided in each installation by the contractor. (d) Daily cleaning of the pump house and keeping proper hygienic sanitation of installations to be ensured by the contractor without any extra cost. (e) To remove all vegetations from roof and chajjas of pump house is responsibility to the contractor pump operator. (f) All stationary items such as registers log books etc should be provided by the contractor. (g) Minor repair in nature such as rewiring or repair to blown fuses, minor repairs of starter, loose connection blockages or leakages if any valves or pipes inside the installation, routine checking of foundation nut bolts glands etc is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Note :- Applicable to BOQ item No 1.00 to 4.00. Rates quoted below minimum fair wages shall be considered as non bonafide. Rates shall be quoted for employing skilled manpower.

Testing of water sample collected from 27 Wing / Mundra road RO plant & supply water for chemical characteristics from approved government laboratories as laid down in the latest edition of manual on water supply and treatment published by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Works and housing and as specified in IS and as directed by Engineer in charge and submission of report thereof.

Testing of water sample collected from 27 Wing/ Mundra road RO Plant & supply water for bacteriological characteristics from approved government laboratories as laid down in the latest edition of manual on water supply and treatment published by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Owrks and housing and as specified in IS and as directed by Engineer in charge and submission of report thereof.

S & F in replacement manual multiport valve side mounted 50mm dia (40NB) for RO Plant fixing all as per manufacturers instructions and as directed by Engineer in charge.

S & F in replacement membrane module 8" for RO plant of Make Toray, Model No TMT20D-400 or equivalent as approved by GE complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement cast iron sluice valve with flanged ends class I PN-1.6 heavy duty ISI marked, drilled type, non raising type IS-14846-2000 mark, including iron wheel complete with hinged joints with suitable rubber insertion 3.0mm thick at both ends with suitable MS bolts, nuts and washers, for the following size of pipes (Make of sluice valves - Kirloskar / L&T / Leader / Zoloto) :-

S&F 99.90% pure Silver electrode made from metal after proper metallurgical treatment and chemical treatment for dissipation of minute ionic silver disinfection suitable for ionisation plant of capacity 0.5 Lakh Ltr/Hr (suitable for Ion Exchange India Ltd) all as specified and directed. (Note:- Life of electrode at the rate of 0.01 PPM dosing of silver in water shall be minimum for 75 million ltrs of water).
