REPAIRS/ REPLACEMENT OF EXISTING EARTHING, LIGHTENING ARRESTER AND ASSOCIATED WORKS AT AF STN SURYALANKA

M&L for measuring and recording of any type of Earth pit resistance value once in every three months, a total of 3 times for CA period not exceeding Qty 400/month. The recordings should be measured after properly disconnecting the earth lead from the equipment/power DB and connecting the same after completion of recording complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) All the records should be maintained in a register and submitted to the department by 25th of first month of cycle with a signature of tenchnical representative of contractor and epresentative individual section-in-charge. (ii) Measurement of earth resistance should be all as per IS-3048.

S&F in repair earth continuity conductor or main earth lead fixed to wall or buried in ground or drawn in conduit pipe of any other indicated situation as required of G.I wire of size 4mm dia with necessary saddles complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Earthing complete with earth galvanized steel plate electrode 600x600x6mm buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level, surrounded from all sides with mixture of charcoal and common salt and electrode connected with galvanized earth lead GI wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, check nut and washers of GI or steel, GI pipe light grade of 15 mm bore as protection pipe, GI wire of length not more than 7.5 mtr and connected to test point. GI pipe 20mm dia light grade for watering, funnel with wire mesh, PCC pit and RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 for cover with 8 mm dia bar reinforcement both ways @ 140 c/c including excavation and earth work disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr as shown on electrical plate No 3 of SSR 2009 complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair air termination single pointed aluminum rod 12mm dia 300mm long fixed on PCC Block and connected to aluminum strip with nuts/ bolts and washers complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair earth continuity conductor fixed to wall or batten or recess or cheses or buried in ground or drawn in conduit pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation as required of size 25 x 3 mm aluminium strip on necessary saddles/ insulators for every 1 mtr complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Item No. 5 above but with Copper strip of size 20 x 3mm. Note : Copper strip to be connected by braising, rate is deemed to be include braising work.

M&L for porcelain/ Bakelite insulator for supporting the aluminum/copper strip of any size, fixed to wall/ floor with two screws and fixing cooper / aluminum strip with one washer and nuts complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for removing of old rusted nuts, bolts, washers, replacing with new GI nuts, bolts, 2 Nos washers complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for earth plate marking made up of angle iron 25x25x3mm of length not less than 1.0 mtr, (0.5 mtr above G.L) fixed with MS plate of 2mm thick, 250 x 100mm by welding with two coats of red oxide paint with one coat of anti corrisive paint of specified colour and written "Earth Pit Nos XX, ER Value : _____" and fixed complete all as specified and as directed.

Schedule of Credit (Minus) Rs. 4,310.00 B/F from Ser page No. 23. NOTE: Bidder shall insert credit amount as rate Rs. 4,310.00 in Green field under Col-6. If bidder does not insert the amount the same will be deducted from total amount of Schedule 'A' and accordingly total amount of tender will be considered in deciding the lowest tender.
