RequiredTo qualify for award of this contract, bidder/firm/Company/Consultants in his name should have in the last five years i.e.,2020-21 to 2024-25 achieved in at least two financial years a minimum financial turnover of value not less than Rs.32.01Lakhs. Additional weight age at 10percent for each year will be added to the financial turnover to bring it to the 2025-26 price level.

Eligibility Criteria

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Work should be carried out as per detailed technical specification attached with tender

The Authority competent to accept the tenders shall have the right of rejecting all or any of the tenders without assigning any reasons and will not be bound to accept the lowest tender

The Executive Engineer reserves the right of rejecting all or any of the tenders without assigning any Reasons

The bidder shall be responsible for conducting detailed survey required at any place, as and well required and shall make their own arrangements of transportation of men machinery, materials and other equipments

Departments not responsible for any untoward happenings during execution of work

If any of the dates mentioned above happened to be a general holiday, the next working day holds good

The rates shall be entered in figures & words

The bidder should not be black listed or recommended by any department officials

Conditional tenders will not be accepted

The tenderer shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his tender, and the employer will in no case be responsible and liable for those costs

The tender processing fee shall not be refundable

one percent Cess towards Building and other construction workers welfare will be recovered from the agency in bills of work as per Govt.regulations

Corrigendum will be published in the web site for all modifications/corrections, if any

If the rate(s)quoted by tenderer for any item(s) of work is/are below the estimated rates of the department then the contractor/consultancy shall furnish an additional performance security in the form of Bank Guarantee for an amount equivalent to the difference between the cost as per quoted rate and the estimated rates, in case of contractor quoting rate above of the estimated rates, then the amount over and above will be withheld during the progress of work

The additional performance security furnished in the former case would be released if requested for by the contractor/consultancy as and when the concerned item/items is/are satisfactorily and fully completed and are so certified by the next Superior officer of tender inviting authority. The withheld amount of the later case will be released only after the entire work contracted is fully completed and so certified by the competent authority

The employer is not responsible for any delay in accessing KPP- Portal

The scanned signature of the bidder / authorized representatives of the bidder shall be attached while uploading the Bid document.

The necessary certificates/ documents in support fulfilling qualification criteria stipulated separately shall be scanned and attached to KPP-Portal document. The original document shall be produced within 3 days from the date of opening of Technical Bid for verification

The CNNL reserves the right of rejecting any or all of the tenders without assigning any reason and will not be bound to accept the lowest tender

The FSD & unbalanced amount (For below Tenders) payable at the time of executing agreement, will be refunded only after successful completion of Defect Liability Period

In addition to the above, all the conditions, as stipulated in the tender booklet of CNNL should be followed

The increase in GST shall not be paid in the extended period of contract for which the Contractor alone is responsible for delay as determined by the authority while granting the extension of time

Contractor has to make his own arrangement for procurement of all materials required for the work. There is no departmental supply of materials. Contractor should procure only ISI mark materials and submit necessary quality control certificates from the authorized quality control authority, before execution

Security deposit, Within 20 days of receipt of the Letter of Acceptance, the successful Tenderer shall deliver to the Employer a Security deposit in any of the forms given below for an amount equivalent to 5% of the Contract price plus additional security for unbalanced tenders

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder.

Tenders shall remain valid for a period not less than Ninety days

Past Experience

Past Experience of Similar Nature Work-The intending bidder/firm/Company/Consultants should have satisfactorily completed (at least 90% of the contract value) at least one single work of Underwater Inspection using Underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) and submission of Software based reports with heat mapping of defects in any Government projects of value not less than 50% of the amount put to tender(ie., Rs. 16.01 Lakhs) during the preceding 5 years from 2020-21 to 2024-25. Certificates should be obtained from the officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer. Additional weight age at 10% for each year will be given to bring it to the 2025-26 price level.
