Chipping / surface cleaning using Mechanical tools & wire brush of existing Steel Structure to achieve ST-2 Standard of Cleanliness.
Application of One coat of Epoxy Red Oxide Primer to minimum DFT of 50 Microns
Joint visual survey with HSL represenatative to identify the damaged structure & marking of damaged area requiring Crop / Renewal or other repairs
Crop & Renewal of damaged Steel Structure, Steel Plates / Sections, hand rails etc.. (including supply of steel) as required in Contractor's scope
Non Destructive Test (NDT): DPT of 25% Weld length of renewed Steel
Upon completion of overall structural repairs, apply one coat of Epoxy Red Oxide Primer on Weld Portions & adjoining area of Repaired Structure
Application of 2 coats of Epoxy High Build Paint to achieve minimum DFT of 100 Micron. Top coat of the Paint for Gantry should be of Yellow Colour and Columns & other Structure should be Steel Grey Colour (Colour shade will be approved by HSL)
Load Testing of Crane for Designated design load in presence of Competent Authority
