Repairing and renovation of western side of building up to the Conference Hall of Birchandra State Central Library excluding sanitary works, Agartala

Clearing & uprooting of too old wide Banian trees in / c roots from the roof and walls by cuttiing whole in the wall complete as requires as per direction of the Engineer-in- charge

Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth upto 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish upto a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared.

Dismantling old plaster or pointing, raking out joints, cleaning and preparing the surface for replastering or re-pointing including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground with all leads and lifts etc.complete as per direction of the Engineer- incharge.

Dismantling tile work in floors and roofs laid in cement mortar including stacking material within 50 metres lead. i) For thickness of tiles 10 mm to 25 mm

First class brick work in superstructure above plinth level & upto floor-five level including cost of all materials as required complete:-In cement mortar 1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 fine sand ).

Providing wood work in frames of doors, windows, clerestory windows and other frames, wrought framed and fixed in position : (i) Local Teak wood

Providing and fixing curtain rods of 1.25 mm thick chromium plated brass plate, with two chromium plated brass brackets fixed with C.P. brass screws and wooden plugs, etc., wherever necessary complete : i) 25 mm dia.

Providing and fixing M.S. grills of required pattern in frames of windows etc. with M.S. flats, square or round bars etc. all complete. i) Fixed to openings /wooden frames with rawl plugs screws etc.

Providing and fixing 28 mm thick door shutter made of solid PVC foam profile with homogenous fine cellular structure having smooth outer integral skin having 71mm width & 28mm thick as vertical & horizontal styles. Joints are made using solvent adhesive and GI ‘C sections (39mm x 19mm x 0.6mm thick) or M S pipe (40mm x 20mm ) stiffener frame insert & telescopic polymeric ‘L’ corners .The panel shall be filled with 3mm thick high - pressure compact laminate as per manufacturer’s specifications and directions of the Engineer-incharge, cover moulding shall be provided for covering fixing screws and elegant look.( for W.C. bathroom door shutter).

For shutters of doors, windows & ventilators including providing and fixing hinges / pivots and making provision for fixing fittings wherever required including the cost of EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket required ( Fittings shall be paid for separately ): i) Anodised aluminium (anodised transparent or dyed to required shade according to IS: 1868, Minimum anodic coating of grade AC 15).

Providing and fixing glazing of approved quality in aluminium doors, windows, ventilator, shutters and partition etc. with EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket etc. complete as per architectural drawing and the direction of Engineer-in-charge (Cost of snap beading shall be paid in basic item) : i) With glass/ float glass panes of 4.0 m thickness ( weight not less than 10.0 kg / sqm )

Providing 40 × 5 mm flat iron hold fast 40 cm long including fixing to frame with 10 mm diameter bolts, nuts and wooden plugs and embedding in cement concrete block 30 × 10 × 15 cm 1:3:6 mix (1 cement:3 fine sand:6 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size)

Providing and fixing aluminium sliding door bolts ISI marked anodised (anodic coating not less than grade AC 10 as per IS : 1868) transparent or dyed to required colour or shade with nuts and screws etc. complete : i) 300x16 mm

Providing and fixing aluminium handles ISI marked anodised (anodic coating not less than grade AC 10 as per IS : 1868) transparent or dyed to required colour or shade with necessary screws etc. complete : i) 125 mm

Providing and fixing IS : 3564 marked Aluminium die cast body tubular type universal hydraulic door closer with necessary accessories and screws etc. complete.

Providing and fixing aluminium hanging floor door stopper ISI marked anodised (anodic coating not less than grade AC 10 as per IS : 1868) transparent or dyed to required colour and shade with necessary screws etc. complete. i) Twin rubber stopper

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade [Payment shall be made after submission of Test Certificate issued by the Manufacturer]: i) Two or more coats on new work over an under coat of suitable shade with ordinary paint (primer) of approved brand and manufacture.

Distempering with Superior quality interior paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade. New work ( two or more coats) over and including water thinnable priming coat with cement primer.

Shifting of existing office almirahs (in/c packed official documents, files etc) or other official materials from one place to another place for mtc. Of a room & placing the same in the same position after mtc. Properly without any demage as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Renewing glass panes with putty and nails wherever necessary, including racking out the old putty: 1. Float Glass panes of 4 mm .
