M&L for repair to concrete pavement slab by cutting existing damage portion of rigid pavements, pot holes to triangular/ rectangular cross section & removing all broken and loose particles outside the MD land and cleaning the surfaces with compressed air to remove dust, dirt loose particles/ sand/ foreign material and washing the surfaces with hydrochloric acid solution and making edges by filling with epoxy resin primer & providing necessary form work as required including provision of elastomeric concrete etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Racking out of old existing sealant compound, back up rod and filler board of the existing joints by specia tools like racker/cutting blades/machines , widening of joints by 2 mm by using joint cutting blades of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the filler board and pouring the sealant Thereafter filled with pre-molded 25 mm thick compressible polyethylene closed cell type filler board as specified , over it filled with closed cell medium density, cross linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 35 mm dia for complete length of the joint. Finally filled with polyurethane joint sealant meeting the requirements mentioned in BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor MAF of+/- 30%. complete all as specifide and directed for joints of size 25-30mm.

Thereafter filled with closed cell, medium density, cross linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 15 mm dia for complete length of the joint, over it to be filled with polyurethane joint sealant meeting the requirements mentioned in BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875- 2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of+/- 30%, complete all as specifide and directed for joints of size 6-12 mm.

M&L for single component 'CONCRE-FLO', special polymers and additives streaming crack, joint stuffer to prevent cracks from forming into pot holes and filling of cracks and joints on concrete surface of the runway, shall be capable to be applied directly on damp pavement also and coverage shall be 24.20 metre/L for 6mm (width) x 6mm (depth) crack or 6.05 metre/L for 13mm x 13mm crack or 2.10 metre/L for 25mm x 25mm crack complete all as per manufacturer's instructions as specified and directed. Back-up rod to be used in case depth is more than 25mm.

S & F of guidance sign boards having various sizes as per ICAO standards, Annexure 14 (2018) fabricated from hollow anodized aluminium profile with 1100mm long frangible legs passing inside the sign. One front side polycarbonate signage sheet shall provide with inscription. The signage sheet shall be 4mm thick long-life UV stabilized polycarbonate non specular surface with letters and symbols of sign (as per directed by Engineer-in-charge), made out from film manufactured by 3M or equivalent as specified, tested from outside with required coloring for mandatory/ informatory guidance sign. The signage is required to be retro-reflective in nature, signage is to be provide by retro-reflective tapes of make 3M or equivalent as specified. The rear panel shall be made of 1.5mm thick aluminium in single sided boards. The board shall have frangible mounting legs with CI casting base with name of vendor imprinted and M10 bolts welded in foundation plate with anchor. The signage sheet and aluminium back sheet (in single sided boards shall be fixed with 25x25x3mm thick anodised aluminium angle with stainless steel screws. The board shall comply to ICAO latest amendment. The whole board shall be powder coated in white colour.
