Annual Maintenance Contract for 66 KV Substation Karanprayag Kothiyalsain, Joshimath and 66 KV Transmission Lines from Srinagar to Joshimath

Assistance in Routine maintenance of 66 KV Transmission Line by carrying out following activities. a) Regular Patrolling, preparation of patrolling report as per prescribed format, close visual inspection of line route i.e. clearance of conductor, position of trees/ hindrances, condition of towers, tower accessories, conductors, conductor accessories, flash points, red hot points etc. as per the direction of Engineer In-charge. b) Lopping - Chopping and pruning of trees branches, bushes and vegetation required for maintaining proper clearance of line corridor as per direction of Engineer In-charge. c) Cutting and felling of trees imposing danger to line towers & conductors as per the direction of Engineer In-charge. d) Tightening/ replacement of tower members and tower accessories as per the direction of Engineer In-charge. e) General tightening/ replacement of tower members and tower accessories including fixing of missing tower parts and tower accessories as per the direction of Engineer In-charge. f) General checking of tower legs, earthing and fixing of any defects observed as per the direction of Engineer In-charge. g) Replacement of broken/ damaged jumper, conductor and discs. h) Replacement of damaged/ broken earthwire with all its accessories. i) Any other routine preventive maintenance works directed by Engineer In-charge. Note: 01 No. operation signifies deployment of 2 highly skilled, 2 skilled and 2 semi-skilled manpower for a per of 8 hours.

Assistance in Daily Routine works at 66 KV Substation (Karanprayag/Kothiyalsain/Joshimath). a) Uprooting of bushes from 66 KV switchyard and control room building premises, Grass cutting in switchyard & control room building area by cutting/ uprooting bushes, grass, weeds, small trees and removal of all foreign material and throwing away from substation premises. (Note: 1.All the above work shall be strictly carried out as per instruction of Engineer Incharge. 2. One No. operation signifies deployed of 1 Semi-skilled manpower for a period of 8 hours.)

Assistance in Shutdown and other works of 66 KV Substation (Karanprayag/Kothiyalsain/Joshimath). which may include following works. a) Maintenance of switchyard equipments of all the bays.. b) Replacement/Tightening of jumpers, droppers, runner, clamps, connectors etc. c) Tightening of 66 KV & 33 KV Busbar (if required). d) Replacement/Tightening of Jaw, blade of isolators. e) Refilling of Transformer oil on CT, CVT, PT and Transformers. f) Cleaning of porcelain part of switchyard equipments g) Cleaning of Trenches and drainage system at Substation premises and switchyard. h) Replacement/ Repairing of control cables, electrical cables etc. i) Any other maintenance work as directed by Engineer In-charge. (Note: 1. One no. operation signifies deployment of 1 highly skilled, 2 skilled and 2 semi-skilled manpower for a per of 8 hours.)
