Repair and strengthening along with painting of 16 nos. stop logs units, 14 nos. intermediate and 2 nos. bottom, of main barrage under sluice or crest bays of Farakka Barrage Project.

Lifting/shifting of damaged stop-logs from different stop-log´s groove/latch with the help of gantry crane and store the same at left bank side garaging span near bay no 109 for execution of repairing / strengthening along with painting work as per direction of EIC.

Removal of rubbish; silt etc. from the tray of gates /stop-log structure.

Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel priming using structural steel etc. as required. In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works.

Painting of 14 intermediate, 2 bottom units of stop-logs of main barrage bays by application of quartz grit blasting, zinc rich primer and epoxy paint as per IS 14177.

Preparing the surface for painting by quartz grit blasting as per specification laid down in IS 14177 including cost of all labour, machineries, tools, tackles, scaffolding & materials etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Application of priming coat(s) on prepared surface with inorganic zinc silicate or zinc rich primer (Berger, Asian paints or other approved brand) with DFT 70+5 micron as per IS 14177 including cost of primer, all labour, machineries, tools, tackles, scaffolding & materials etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Application of regular coat(s) (two) of solvent less coaltar EPOXY paint (Berger, Asian paints or other approved brand) with DFT 150+5 micron per coat as per IS 14177 including cost of paint, all labour, machineries, tools, tackles, scaffolding & materials etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing of bottom and side rubber seals; Bottom 1 no. 18774 mm x× 71 mm × 25mm + Side- 2 nos. 980 mm × 135 mm × 12 mm. with clamp plates SS Bolts and Nuts & washers. (For each intermediate unit of main barrage stop log).

Supply and fixing of bottom and side rubber seals; Bottom 1 no. 18774 mm x 80 mm x 25mm + Side- 2 nos. 980 mm x 135mm x 12mm. with clamp plates SS Bolts and Nuts & washers. (For each bottom unit of main barrage stop log).

Supply of SS nuts and bolts for fixing of wooden beams/ fenders.

Providing beams including hoisting, fixing, in position and applying wood preservative for unexposed surfaces, etc. complete with Sal wood.

Plugging two bays by repaired stop-logs and removal the same after checking all parameters (Sealing of rubber seal, proper linking/delinking of stop-logs with lifting beam etc.)
