Outsourcing of services for DG set 75 KVA & 70 KVA located at Signal section comprising of LT panel, change over and other panels in three shift (each shift of eight hrs continuous duration) per day including Sunday and holidays for operation of DG set 75 KVA & 70 KVA as specified in notes below and directed by EIC. The details of shift mainly comprise of the following :-

Notes applicable for Sl item No.1 above a) Operation of DG set 75 KVA & 70 KVA in case of mains failure immediately or as and when asked by MES reps including Operation of LT panels, Changeover daily all as directed by EIC. b) Maintenance of DG set including checking of oil level, water in radiator, battery charging, Diesel, cleaning of DG set on daily basis. Helping MES for filling Diesel & intimating the Diesel position/balance in prior and carrying out all the jobs mentioned under item No 01 here in before for the DG set under this item. c) Cleaning the vegetation in surrounding area of the installation as directed by EIC. d) Maintenaing Daily LOG sheet for DG set. e) Switching ON & OFF of the street lights around DG set bldg as per time schedule directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note : Rate to be quoted for shifts at one location)

Outsourcing of services for DG set 160 KVA located at PAR Substation comprising of LT panel, change over, HT RMU, Transformer and other panels in three shift (each shift of eight hrs continuous duration) per day including Sunday and holidays for operation of DG set 160 KVA as specified in notes below and directed by EIC. The details of shift mainly comprise of the following:-

Notes applicable for Sl item No.2 above a) Operation of LT panels, HT RMU, Changeover daily all as directed by EIC. b) Operation of DG set 160 KVA in case of mains failure immediately or as and when asked by MES reps. daily all as directed by EIC. c) Maintenance of DG set including checking of oil level, water in radiator, battery charging, Diesel, cleaning of DG set on daily basis. Outsourcing of services for DG set 160 KVA located at MAFI II Substation (Pechora) comprising of LT panel, change over, HT RMU, Transformer and other panels in three shift (each shift of eight hrs continuous duration) per day including Sunday and holidays for operation of DG set 160 KVA as specified in notes below and directed by EIC. The details of shift mainly comprise of the following:-

Notes applicable for Sl item No.3 above a) Operation of LT panels, HT VCB, Changeover daily all as directed by EIC. b) Operation of DG set 160 KVA in case of mains failure immediately or as and when asked by MES reps. daily all as directed by EIC. c) Maintenance of DG set including checking of oil level, water in radiator, battery charging, Diesel, cleaning of DG set on daily basis. Helping MES for filling Diesel & intimating the Diesel position/balance in prior and carrying out all the jobs mentioned under item No 01 here in before for the DG set under this item. d) Cleaning the vegetation in surrounding area of the installation as directed by EIC. e) Maintenaing Daily LOG sheet for DG set. f) Switching ON & OFF of the street lights around Substation as per time schedule directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Outsourcing of services for HT VCB / LT ACB, DG Set 160 KVA (02 Qty) operation located at MAFI I Substation No 37 AND SUBSTATION NO. 2 comprising of HT/LT panel, change over, HT VCB's, LT ACB's, ATS, DG sets Transformer and other panels in three shift (each shift of eight hrs continuous duration) per day including Sunday and holidays for operation of HT VCB's / LT ACB's as specified in notes below and directed by EIC. The details of shift mainly comprise of the following:-

Notes applicable for Sl item No.4 above a) Operation of LT panels, HT VCB, Changeover daily all as directed by EIC. b) Operation of LT ACB's / HT VCB's, DG sets in case of mains failure immediately or as and when asked by MES reps. daily all as directed by EIC. c) Maintenance of ACB's / VCB's including checking of indicators, Power pack battery charging, Out put of power pack, cleaning of HT VCB's / LT ACB's/ LT panel , ATS ,Voltage stabilizer & Isolation Transformer on daily basis. d)Operation of DG set 160 KVA(new) & 160 KVA(old) in case of mains failure immediately or as and when asked by MES reps including Operation of LT panels,Changeover daily all as directed by EIC. e) Maintenance of DG set including checking of oil level, water in radiator, battery charging, Diesel, cleaning of DG set on daily basis. Helping MES for filling Diesel & intimating the Diesel position/balance in prior and carrying out all the jobs mentioned under item No 01 here in before for the DG set under this item. f) Cleaning the vegetation in surrounding area of the installation as directed by EIC. g) Maintenaing Daily LOG sheet for HT VCB's / LT ACB's, DG sets. h) Switching ON & OFF of the street lights around Substation as per time schedule directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note : Rate to be quoted for three shifts at one location)

Note :- Applicable for item No 1,2,3 & 4 a) If operator found absent from duty double the recovery shall be lived by the Depatment. b) Operator should be in uniform .The rate quated by contractor includes the cost of Uniform) c) Contractor has to provide all stationery required for maintaining log book, attendence register, Duty roster etc. d) Duties to be done by operator:- Checking and testing complete DG set (Including engine, alternator, AMF panel, Body & chases complete) for its proper functioning and making a list of repairs/replacements required to be carried out in different parts of the DG sets. Carrying out general servicing , all as directed, including following jobs and the like as directed :- (i) Checking and cleaning of diesel filters & oil filters and making a list of filters required to be replaced

(ii) Checking of engine oil level and intimating the quantity of oil required for topping, if any. (iii) Checking, cleaning and servicing including oiling & greasing of engine and making list of repairs / replacements required, if any. (iv) Checking, cleaning, watering & general servicing of alternator battery including tightening of nuts, bolts, lugs and the like. Also making a list of repairs / replacements required, if any.(v) Checking the earthing connections of neutral and body of DG set, tightening of connections and making a list of repairs / replacements required, if any. (vi) Checking of self starter and intimating Engr in charge if required to be repaired / specially serviced in workshop. (vii) Checking, cleaning and general servicing of AMF panel including replacement / tightening of nuts, bolts, lugs and other such minor parts, oiling & greasing and making list of repairs / replacements required, if any (viii) Checking, cleaning & general servicing of instrument panel and making a list of repairs/replacements required, if any.

(ix) Checking, cleaning and general servicing of various parts of DG set such as timer, contactors, meters, etc. and making list of repairs / replacements required, if any. (x) Tightening / replacement of nuts, bolts, washers and the like of DG set all as directed. (xi) Checking for diesel leakage from any point and rectify if can be rectified by minor repairs / replacements. Else make list of repairs / replacements required, if any. (xii) Checking, cleaning and adjusting fan belt tension and making a list of replacements requirted, if any. (xiii) Checking, cleaning & general servicing of exhaust / silenecer including checking for leakage of smoke & rectify, if can be rectified by minor repairs / replacements. Else make a list of repairs / replacements required, if any.

(xiv) Checking, cleaning and tightenening of electrical connections including replacement of minor parts. (xv) Checking & cleaning of AVM pads, tightening / replacement of nuts, bolts, & washers and making a list of replacements required, if any. (xvi) Checking, cleaning & tightening of exhaust pipe, flange and lagging, tightening / replacement of nuts, bolts, washers and the like and making a list of repairs / replacements required, if any. (xvii)(a). Checking output of alternator and adjusting the same to specified values, in case of brush type (b) cleaning & servicing of the alternator, minor repairs & replacements and making list of alternators requiring complete overhauling (xviii) Checking, cleaning & tightening of all hose pipes, tightening / replacement of nuts, bolts, washers and the like and making a list of repairs / replacements required, if any (xix) Checking, cleaning & servicing of air filter elements and making a list of replacements required, if any (xx) Oiling, greasing and checking for proper functioning of DG set.

NOTE: 1. Contractor shall quote their rates in accordance to the minimum wages published by Government of India or Government of Gujrat whichever is higher. 2. Detailed notes are given in Schedule 'A' BOQ notes hereinbefore. All bidders are advised to read all the notes carefully before quoting the rates.
