PROVISION OF 01 APPROACH ROAD/PATH AND ADDITION /ALTERATION TO EXISTING PERIPHERY ROAD AROUND TYPE-II AND TYPE-III MD ACCOMODATION AT ICGS MUNDRA UNDER GE(I) (CG) GANDHINAGAR

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) means over areas (exceeding 30cm upto1.5m in depth, exceeding 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan), including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 mtr complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 sqm, n exc 50 mm deep etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting with 8 to 12 tonne roller in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 150mm spread thickness soling (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed.

Providing and Laying Dry lean Concrete (DLC) 75 mm thick of aggregate gradation as per Table 1 of SP 49:2014 having 7 day average compressive strength not less than 7 MPa Minimum cement content not less than 140 Kg/Cum, DLC mixed in Batching Plant, transported to site and laid by electronic sensor paver including spreading and compacting usign high amplitude tamping bars paver (initial compaction) further by double drum smooth wheeled vibratory rollers with 80-100 KN static weight to achieve minimum dry density not less than 98% of maximum Dry Density, necessary finishing etc complete all as specified and tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MaRTH specifications for ROad and Bridge Work 2013 complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying and laying 400 micron thick HDPE sheet (Virgin Quality) water proof, wrinkle free without puncture having minimum weight 390 gm/Sqm over sand cushion as specified in the design with overlap between adjacent strips and at transverse joints as minimum 300mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only polyester triangular synthetic fibres 6/12mm long with circum circle diameter 30-35 micron desgined for melting point 240 -260 degree celsius having specific gravity 1.34 to 1.4 Recron 3S manufactured by M/s Reliance Industries Ltd Mumbai or M/s Finolex Industires Ltd or equivalent as secondary reinfocement in all type of concrete @0.25% by wt of cement complete. (@1.0 Kg per cum of PQC) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for 150 mm thick Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) of minimum field flexural strength 40 Kg/Sq cm(lower control limit-LCL) after 28 days in pavement slab using 400 kg of cement per cum and using non circular fibre synthetic reinforcement @ 0.25% by weight of cement with crushed stone aggregate of grading as specified laid in panels,including necessary formwork, spread and compacted using mechanical paver, mechanically vibrated & bull nosing/rounding off edges, curing, broom finishing on top, belting, etc complete all as specified and as directed (Thickness of concrete shall be 200 mm) complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) Admixture if required as per approved design mix shall be added and cost of Admixture and mixing shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) Polyester triangular fibres as secondary reinforcement mixed in concrete shall be measured and paid separtely under respective item of this schedule. However mixing shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (iii) Constrction joints, dummy (contraction joints) and expansion joints shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Finishing top concrete pavement with wire brush while concrete is green complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Forming 25 mm width expansion joint in concrete slab for full depth of POC. Early entry saw and subsequent cutting by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size. straight and smooth edges. Join cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil , vegetation and other debris. The join then filled with pre-molded 25 mm thick compressible polyethylene closed cell type filler board as specified thereafter application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant Placing of closed cell medium density, crossed linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 30 mm dia, over filler board and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of+/- 30% having minimum 10 year performance guarantee applying masked tape on the edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by the manufacture complete as specified and directed.
