To carry out the structural design and preparation of Arch and structural drawings in respect “Provn of two security watch tower at ND Androth” based on BPs and AEs provided by the department: - (a) Consultancy firm has to submit Arch and structural drawings along with calculation sheet one original set on auto cad (soft copy as well as hard copy). The drawing has to be got approved from HQ CWE (NB) Kochi. The Architectural/Structural Engineers of the consultant should discuss drawings and all the design parameters with CWE (NB) Kochi before proceeding with the actual work. Stage wise checking of Design shall be got done from HQ CWE (NB) Kochi. (b) The design of the building shall be scientifically designed using fastest codal provision/engineering practices and should be economically efficient and grade of concrete shall not be M-30 and steel Fe-500D as per relevant IS. Load combination shall be as per IS-875, IS-1893, IS4326, IS13920 and IS 456:2000 (latest version). Important factor shall be as per relevant IS clause pertaining to seismic provisions. The design shall be done on latest version of ETABS/STADD/STADD Pro. The confirmation for use of software shall be obtained from HQ CWE (NB) Kochi. (c) Design and drawing shall be in compliance as per sound engineering practice, adherence to NBC norms, statutory orders and regulation and relevant IS Codes etc. (d) The consultant should be available at any mid-term review of design requirement based on soil investigation report and during currency of works due to site requirements. In case of any defect/damage detected in the designed infrastructure during its design life and if the same is attributed to faulty drawing/design, the consultant will be held responsible and financially liable for the same. (e) The consultant shall submit the following documents in proper presentable form in soft and hard copies to HQ CWE (NB) Kochi: - (i) Input data file of STABS/SAP/SAFE (ii) Design philosophy and list of codes and BIS publication followed. (iii) Design calculation, detailed load calculation and final design report in soft and hard copy. (iv) Architectural drawings and Structural drawings in Auto CAD. (v) All Architectural drawings and structural drawings (one original set in tracing along with 3 copies including foundation plan, floor plans, roof plans, site plan, schedule of finishes, internal water supply and electrification diagram. (The position of grid beams details of staircase and all relevant details of drawings) (vi) Report, and all drawings are to be prepared as for lump sum contract. (vii) Report will be deemed complete only on submission of all items as per scope and formal approval of accepting officer. (viii) Detailed estimate of the structure based on SSR 2020, Market analysis and yard stick of the project. Notes:- (a) The entire Job should be completed within 45 days from the date of order. (b) Consultant may be required to give clarification on required basis during execution. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. (c) All drawings & other related details are to be made as for lump sum contract and submitted along with the report No delayed submission is permitted.
