SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I : BOQ OF WORKS FOR BUILDING MAINT AND SEWAGE CLEANING WORKS.

Demolition of un-reinforced cement concrete in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level), ncluding cleaning, removal and disposal of rubbish/ waste materials from premises, complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete un-reinforced of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for, including cleaning, removal and disposal of rubbish/ waste materials from premises, complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (reinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for, including cleaning, removal and disposal of rubbish/ waste materials from premises, complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantaling of PCC block, brickwork or stone/ boulder masonry, including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar of any description, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling structural steel work including doors, gates but excluding framed truss etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or R.C.C.) any section, including taking out embedded portion and making good disturbed ground, posts embedded in concrete, brick work, masonry, etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling fencing wire mesh, any type, complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of cast iron or reinforced concrete drain pipes of internal dia of pipe in 150mm, jointed in cement mortar and taking out of trenches, if required, complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of cast iron or reinforced concrete drain pipes of internal dia of pipe in 100mm, jointed in cement mortar and taking out of trenches, if required, complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes (Salt glazed ware, AC or Reinforced concrete), of internal dia of pipe in 150mm, set in cement mortar, complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.50mtr wide and not exceeding 1.50mtr in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.50 mtr in depth and getting out, in any type of soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil not exceeding 50mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50 mtr above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm, any type of soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

Plain cement concrete M-7.50(1:4:8), type D-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate), as mass concrete in foundation, complete all as specified and as directed.

Plain cement concrete M-10(1:3:6), type C-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate), as mass concrete in foundation, complete all as specified and as directed.

Plain cement concrete M-10(1:3:6), type C-1, (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate), nominal mix, as in cills, steps; plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, including necessary form work, complete all as specified and as directed

Precast reinforced cement concrete M-20(1:1.5:3), type A-1, (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate), nominal mix, as in landings, cover slabs (for man holes etc.) chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs and similar articles with plain faces, set in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and as directed.

Chequered cement concrete coloured tiles, pre-polished, size 300mmx300mmx20/25mm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the colour of tiles, laid over 20mm thick screed bed or bedding layer in cement mortar 1:6, complete all as specified and as directed.

Plain cement concrete M-10(1:3:6), type C-1, (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate), nominal mix in surface channels and drains, including necessary form work, complete all as specified and as directed.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 Cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred/ stopped ends etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

Description all as per serial item No- 1.21 here-in-above, add or deduct for each 25 mm girth or part thereof over or under 30cm.

Plain cement concrete M-10(1:3:6), type C-2 (using 40mm crushed stone aggregates) as in bed to drain pipes of 150mm bore including packing under, and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested; after laying, complete all as specified and as directed.

Plain cement concrete M-10(1:3:6), type C-2 (using 40mm crushed stone aggregates) as in bed to drain pipes of 100mm bore including packing under, and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested; after laying, complete all as specified and as directed.

Pre-cast cement concrete block masonry M-10(1:3:6), type C-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) with solid blocks, exceeding 10cm in width and incluing setting in cement mortar 1:6, complete all as specified and as directed.

Pre-cast cement concrete block masonry of any types of blocks, exceeding 10cm in width and incluing setting in cement mortar 1:6, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Old PCC block/ bricks/ stone shall be used as retrivied from dismantling under serial item No- 1.04 here-in-before.

Stone walling of random rubble using best local stone such as granite, trap or besalt, brought to courses well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted, built in cemeny mortar 1.6, complete all as specified and as directed.

Description all as per serial item No- 1.27 here-in-before, except stone. Note: Old PCC block/ bricks/ stone shall be used as retrivied from dismantling under serial item No- 1.04 here-in-before.

Extra over stone walling for hammer dressing in lime or sand stoe, to face stones and dressing of face beds and joints, as specified, of random rubble walling, uncoursed or brought upto courses with maximum depression on face from straight edge held against the dressed surface not exceeding 20mm, complete all as specified and as directed.

Raised pointing to random or polygonal rubble, uncoursed or brought upto courses in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and as directed.

Hand packing (any thickness) of broken boulders or stone at back of walls over arches etc. and raising (or lowering) to the required level, complete all as specified and as directed.

Rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of on brick work or concrete surfaces, in cement mortar 1:4, rendering is to be finished even and smooth (without using extra cement), complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of new plastered or unplastered surfaces of walls and applying three coats of white washing, complete all as specified and as directed.

Cast iron sand cast soil, waste and vent pipes, 150mm bore, in any length with or without ears, with cement joints, laid in trenches or in floors, complete all as specified and directed.

PVC (SWR) pipes, 150mm bore, single socketed, capacity not, less then 4.50 Kgf/Sqcm, in any length fixing with adhesive/ solvent cement, laid in trenches or in floors, complete all as specified and as directed.

PVC (SWR) pipes, 110mm bore, single socketed, capacity not, less then 4.50 Kgf/Sqcm, in any length fixing with adhesive/ solvent cement, laid in trenches or in floors, complete all as specified and as directed.

PVC (SWR) bends of 110mm bore, pressure capacity not less than 4.50 Kgf/Sqcm, any radius, fixing with adhesive, complete all as specified and as directed.

PVC (SWR) pipes, 75mm bore, single socketed, capacity not, less then 4.50 Kgf/Sqcm, in any length fixing with adhesive/ solvent cement, laid in trenches or in floors, complete all as specified and as directed.

PVC (SWR) floor trap, 75mm diameter of outlet, plain with grating including jointing with adhesive, complete all as specified and as directed.

Mild steel deformed/ twisted bars of 6mm to 8mmdia, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of manholes covers (any type) and dewatering/ pumping/ bailing out of contaminated water including cleaning of sludge and night soil from septic tanks/ soakage wells of any capacity and depth alongwith inlet/ outlet chambers etc by vehicle mounted sewage suction machine including pumping out the contaminated water in open drain/ low lying area to a distance exceeding 50mtr and removing the sludge, silt etc. (solid waste materials) to outside of Unit/ Cantonment area and putting back manhole covers in original position including spreading bleaching powder on top of septic tanks/ soakage wells to make it hygienically fit, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note: (i) Actual quantity of sludge/ waste material only shall be measured after dewatering the septic tanks only, the sludge shall be carried away in the sewage carrying tankers away from defence land or burried in trenches, of minimum capacity 7000 Ltrs each. (ii) Cost of dewatering/ pumping out of contaminated water from septic tanks and soakage well and excavation of trenches (if required) shall deemed be included in quoted rates.

Cleaning of blocked/ choked SGSW/ Cast Iron drain pipes/ sewer lines of any dia and any types, in horizontal or vertical position by rodding, from manholes to manholes and manholes end to septic tanks/ soakage wells, flushing with pressure jet of water/ sewage suction machine after taking out existing manholes covers and putting back manhole covers in original position after cleaning of lines including removing the sludge and other waste materials/ blockage in drain pipes, transport to outside of Unit/ Cantonment area and spreading bleaching powder on top of manholes covers of septic/ soakage pits or in the surrounding areas to make hygienically fit, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Cost of transportation of waste materials shall be deemed included in quoted rates.

Cleaning of dried up/ blocked/ choked manholes of any type and any sizes, in any position by any manual or machenically means including taking out and putting back manhole covers in original position after cleaning of manholes including removing the sludge and other waste materials/ blockages, transport to outside of Unit/ Cantonment area and spreading bleaching powder on top of manholes covers to make hygienically fit, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Cost of transportation (in closed containers) of waste materials shall be deemed included in quoted rates.

Mild steel work as in posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165, complete all as specified and directed.

Attending complaints of sewage blockage by cleaning and removal of sludge/ night soil and garbage from manholes, W.C. and sewage lines including cleaning any blockage from gully/ nahani/ floor trap etc, by Skilled manpower, as or when required, for attending complaints of sewage cleaning as instructed by concerned JE with complaint slip and report back to the same JE, including maintaining of the record of complaint slips after getting signature of users, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note: Nos of man power will be decided by Engineer-In-charge and decison of Engineer-In-charge shall be final and binding to contractor without any extra claim to Govt.

Chain link mild steel galvanised fencing, dia of GI wire 3.8mm/ 4.0mm or type, fencing including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts, etc. including provision of binding wire, complete all as specified and directed. Note: BOO shall be convene by the Garrison Engineer to determine the weight and dia of G.I. wire of chain link mesh.

Galvanised. 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2.0mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. as directed (each line wire to be measured), fixing in repairs, complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description, not otherwise described, over 10cm width or girth including and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of zinc chrome/ red oxide primer, complete all as specified and as directed.

Amount of Schedule of credit of for Rs 35,879.00 shall be deducted from quoted amount.
