MANNING AND OPERATION OF HT/LT SUB STN, DG SETS AT TS, ARSR, VOLNA, ASR UNDER AGE E/M NO.I OF GE (UTILITY-I),VISAKHAPATNAM

Manning and operation for operation & maintenance of 11 KV Substations with Connected HT VCB, back up protection, Battery bank system etc including operation & maintenance of diesel engine driven Gen set and connected AMF/LT distribution panels at ARSR for smooth and trouble free operation including connected switch controls up to main distribution boards at buildings, transformers, back up protection, street light feeders etc and all other connected items round the clock in three shifts of 08 hours each for smooth and trouble free operation all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

(i) One skilled electrician in each shift Note : (i) Bidder has to quote the following mandatory provisions related to wages and misc benefits for workmen which includes all Taxes, cess, levis as applicable including GST. (ii) In case the rates quoted are less than the prevailing rates / instructions under any heading(s), the bid will be treated as non-bonafide / invalid which shall be disqualified and such bids will not be considered for acceptance (iii) Payment for item nos. 1.00 (i) (a) to (f) will be done after submission of valid & authentic documents in support of proof of payment as mentioned in tender documents.

Manning and operation for operation and maintenance of diesel engine driven Gen set 320 KVA and Sub Station Nos 1 & 2 at TS Dolphin Hill for smooth and trouble free operation in each shift including loading of diesel in the fuel tank regular checking of engine oil, battery electrolyte and radiator water level and rectifying minor defects such as Engine Air lock, tightening of loose bolts and nuts etc, which may develop during operation and relative parameters round the clock in three shifts of 08 hours each all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Manning and operation for operation and maintenance of 62.5 KVA DG Sets- 2 Nos, 11/0.433 KV 75 KVA transformer -1 No, 50 KVA transformer 440/230 V -1 No connected electrical switchgears etc at round the clock in three shifts for smooth and trouble free operation at Volna Complex all as directed.

Manning and operation for operation and maintenance 160 KVA Diesel Generating Set , 11/0.433 KV 160 KVA transformer -1 Nos, HT VCB panel- 1 No, RMU along with its connected electric panel board, voltage stabilizers etc. round the clock in three shifts for smooth and trouble free operation at ASR radar complex at TS Dolphin Hills all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note for item No.1 to 4 :- The rate shall also include the following : (i) Necessary transportation for work men should be provided by the contractor. (ii) Additional man power if required for early restoration of supply in case of emergency. (iii) The Contractor has to work in conjunction with other agencies working at Dolphin Hill to resolve the break downs without creating inconvenience to Users.

(iv) The installation will be handed over in operating state on the commencement of contract. (v)The daily record of DG running hrs shall be maintained as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (vi) Carrying out A check of DG set daily as per Manufacturer's manual. (vii) Replacing of distilled water/battery electrolyte and charging of batteries as and when required.

(viii) The operator shall ensure by trial run and be alert to run the DG Set within 5 minutes of supply failure. (ix) Regular checking of engine/HSD oil, battery electrolyte and radiator water level and rectifying minor defects such as Engine Air lock, tightening of loose bolts and nuts etc, which may develop during operation and relative parameters all as directed.

(x) (a) HSD oil required for running DG Set will be issued under Schedule ‘B’ free for filling which will be made available at site by Department. (b) It is the contractor’s responsibility to maintain the minimum reserve of oil in tank at any time and as directed by EIC. (c) Necessary Men power required to load the HSD oil at Store yard and to unload the HSD Oil at site shall be arranged by contractor and the rate quoted shall include for the same.

(xi) The contractor shall be responsible to communicate the concerned JE/AGE/GE regarding any type of breakdown/fault within 10 minutes of incident. (xii) The contractor shall be responsible for maintaining the complete area (i.e. inside boundary wall) such as building , lawn, garden , Bldg plinth, hard standing , footpath etc in neat and clean position. All necessary T & P for cutting / Cleaning of grass and vegetation will be arranged by the contractor.

(xiii) One emergency light and necessary tools should be available in the tool box with operator for smooth functioning. (xiv) The contractor shall provide protective clothing, helmet and shoes to all persons on duty. (xv) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of the cost of log sheets, break down register, complaint register, earthing testing register etc, and cost of T & P for maint work, minor consumable such as RYB indication lamps , PG Clamps, PVC insulation tape , screws, washers, nails, Teflon tape, Fuse wire, clips, bolts , nuts etc for day to day maintenance and repairs.
