CIVIL WORKS

Foundation for DG Set. – Construction of RCC platform For DG set to be installed outside in open area with Dry rubble Sub base , PCC 1:3:6 base & RCC M25 grade platform ) weight as recommended by the Genset manufacturer , Foundation for Exhaust Stack if required.

Steel work in built up tubular (round, square or rectangular hollow tubes etc.) trusses etc., including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer, including welding and bolted with special shaped washers etc. complete.Hot finished welded type tubes

Providing and fixing precoated galvanised iron profile sheets (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-charge) 0.50 mm (+ 0.05 %) total coated thickness with zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 metre or as desired by Engineer?in-charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling /self tapping screws of size (5.5x 55 mm) with EPDM seal, complete upto any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required

500 KVA DG set with AMF operation

Suply, Installation, testing and commissioning of 500kVA DG Set Supply, Transportation, erection and commissioning (Excluding Foundation) of 3 Phase, 415, 50Hz, water cooled multi cylinder diesel generator set with alternator of 500 KVA/ 400KW out put contineous rating directly coupled Engine and Alternator with guard and mounted on a common base plate of Robust construction and complete with standard control panel having IP-52 protection, Acoustic Enclosure as per CPCB norms, sound absorbing material, t to restrict sound level up to 75 dB up to 1 mtr distance and as per CPCB norms etc as per Tecnical specifications attached in separate sheets.A. Alternator : Kirloskar / Stamford make. The alternator of the output rating shall be 3 Phase, 415V, 50Hz, Ac , 0.8 P.F. lagging at 1500 RPM. The alternator is self excited, self regulated, and shall confirm to IS: 13364 of 1992 with regulation of +5% from no load to full load. degree of protections shall be IP23.B.Diesel Engine : Kirloskar / Cummins, developing suitable -------------- BHP output at 1500 RPM with mechanical / electronic governing so as to enable the alternator to give 500 KVA continuous output at 0.8 P.F. lagging at NTP conditions. The diesel engine shall be capable of providing 10% O/L for 1 Hr for every 11 Hrs of continuous running at full load. The engine with 1st filling of oil and Diesel etc. 01. Exhaust pipe of required size and length with insulation or clading. 02. Diesel tank suitable for 8 to 12 Hours running capacity. 03. Residential Silencer. 04. SMF Batteries with leads as per the Manufacturer standards

Design,Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of AMF panel - It includes EAR Monitor with LCD displays indicating kWh, kW, kVA, pf, Volts, Amps. Hz Indications, auto/manual option – RPM, Hour, Oil Pressure, Oil Temperature, Coolant Temperature & Fuel Level Protections – Short Circuit, Over Current, Over Speed, Over Load and Optional Reverse Power Relay, Single Phasing, Phase Sequence. Safeties – Auto shut down, visual & audio alarm for LLOP, HCT, Low fuel level & Radiator Water Level. Apart from the above – Suitable rating of MCCB's, MCB's, contactor, relays etc as required as per design

Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 1000A 4P EDO type microprocessor based ACB in existing Main LT panel with R,Y,B Indication, DMFM, required CT coils, control wiring, required to linking bus bar arrangements, etc as required. And if required modification of existing ACB (EB Incomer) for auto/manual operations and manual interlocking facilities

Laying of one number additional PVC insulated and PVC sheathed / XLPE power cable of 1.1 KV grade of following size direct in ground in the same trench in one tier horizontal formation including excavation, sand cushioning, protective covering and refilling the trench etc as required.

Laying and fixing of one number PVC insulated and PVC sheathed/ XLPE power cable of 1.1 KV grade of following size in the existing mansonry open duct as required

Earthing with copper earth plate 600 mm X 600 mm X 3 mm thick including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having ocking arrangement and watering pipe of 2.7 metre long etc. with charcoal/ coke and salt as required. (for DG set Body earthing)

Supplying and laying 32 mm X 10 mm copper strip at 0.50 metre below ground as strip earth electrode, including connection/ terminating with nut, bolt, spring, washer etc. as required. (Jointing shall be done by overlapping and with 2 sets of brass nut bolt & spring washer spaced at 50mm)

Supplying and laying 50 mm X 6 mm copper strip at 0.50 metre below ground as strip earth electrode, including connection/ terminating with nut, bolt, spring, washer etc. as required. (Jointing shall be done by overlapping and with 2 sets of brass nut bolt & spring washer spaced at 50mm)

Providing and fixing 4.00 mm dia copper wire on surface or in recess for loop earthing as required. (control panel earthing)

Laisoning and Approvals

Obtaining DG Set energisation approval from Electrical Inspectorate by submitting relevant papers and drawins through a valid A class wiring contract licensee and necessary liasioning work with Electrical Inspectorate and KSEB for commissioning the DG set and connecting to MSB panel.
