Providing, laying and compacting 150 mm thick Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) in two compacted layers of 75 mm each, consisting of clean crushed graded aggregates and approved granular material, premixed with water in an approved Wet Mix Macadam plant, transported to site, spread with approved equipment and compacted with vibratory roller to the required density, line, level, grade and camber, conforming to Clause 406 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works, Fifth Revision, including all labour, materials, machinery, water, leads, lifts, plant mixing, laying, compaction, testing, trial stretches, quality control and all incidental operations, complete as specified in Particular Specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge/OC Contract.

Providing and applying prime coat with SS-1 grade cationic bitumen emulsion conforming to IS:8887 over prepared WMM/granular base surface, including cleaning of road surface with mechanical broom/air jet, removal of dust and loose material, and spraying uniformly by bitumen pressure distributor at 0.75 kg/sqm or at such rate as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge after trial, conforming to Clause 502 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works, Fifth Revision, including curing, traffic control, quality control and all incidental operations, complete as specified in Particular Specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge/OC Contract.

Providing and applying tack coat with RS-1 grade cationic bitumen emulsion conforming to IS:8887 or VG-10 low viscosity paving bitumen conforming to IS:73, as specified/directed, over prepared primed granular or bituminous surface, including cleaning of surface with mechanical broom and high-pressure air jet, and spraying uniformly by bitumen pressure distributor at 0.25 kg/sqm over primed granular surface or at the rate approved by the Engineer-in-Charge in accordance with Clause 503 and Table 500-5 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works, Fifth Revision, including curing, traffic control, quality control and all incidental operations, complete as specified in Particular Specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge/OC Contract.

Providing and laying 75 mm thick compacted Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM), Grading 1, in a single layer, using approved crushed aggregates, fine aggregates, mineral filler and viscosity grade paving bitumen VG-10 as specified/directed, mixed in approved Hot Mix Plant as per approved Job Mix Formula, transported to site in covered/insulated vehicles, laid by sensor paver finisher and compacted with approved rollers to the required density, line, level, grade and camber, conforming to Clause 505 and Table 500-10 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works, Fifth Revision, with minimum binder content of 4.0 percent by mass of total mix, subject to approved Job Mix Formula and correction for aggregate specific gravity as permitted under MoRT&H specifications, including tack coat wherever required, plant trials, laying trials, testing, quality control and all incidental operations, complete as specified in Particular Specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge/OC Contract.
