M & L for cutting grass manually and removing materials obtained from cutting/cleaning both sides of runway, PTT near DTGM board, Links, Cleaning of taxi track and other airfield area as per user requirement etc. complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Contractor will arrange his own minimum 04 Nos. of labour form 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM (including lunch break of half an hour at mid day) every day and as well as reuquired. However department will have the right to stop the work at any time due to security point of view.

M&L for ploughing of soft ground arrester in the pattern prescribed by the Engineer in Charge using including deploying of tractor with jungle jim/plougher and a driver and cutting of grass around runway and taxi track all as directed by Engineer in Charge. (Note :- Payment shall be made for each hour or part there of of execution of work by the tractor on site. Necessary log book duly signed by the users, Engineer in charge and contractor shall be maintained and kept on records of the Engineer in charge and shall be produced when desired by the GE. Stationary for the same shall be supplied by the contractor)

M&L for grass cutting by mechanical bush cutter around airfield lights, sign boards along with drian including deploying of labour complete all as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supply & Fix in repair of Distance To Go Marker 2 Nos (1220mm X 1220 mm) made of compressed aluminum sheet of 4mm thick blackodised on one side where the compressed aluminum sheet and the marking of the number/letter are of red retro reflective film on black background and shall comply with ADM part 6 is supported in a frame made up of aluminum extrusion embeded 60cm below GL with PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 and 10cm above ground level including making ncecessary earth works etc complete all as specified and as directed by the EIC.

Removal of Rubber deposits over rigid runway surface by manual scrubbing using hot water /water blasting cum vacuuming system with appropriate water pressure without damage to runway surface ,remove all waste materials and make clear the runway surface

M&L for screened coarse sand filling/spreading in SGA free from all deleterious materials in prescribed pattern as directed by EIC

M&L for cleaning the surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with compressor air blower to remove all loose dust and dirt etc/taking out dust/ existing material with compressed air and making the surface free from dust, drying the surface and applying Two coats of polymeric modified emulsion (PME) by using self propelled emulsion distribution uniformly or towed emulsion pressure sprayer , equipped for spraying the PME uniformly and mopping the total undiluted PME @ 1.00 litre per sqm in two coats in ratio 1:1 (PME: water) and ensure uniform finish of total area complete all as specified and directed. Note: The tenderer shall take into consideration the following points while quoting rate for the above item:- (i) No price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of polymer modified emulsion (PME) shall be used, depending upon condition of existing flexible surface.

M&L for cleaning and racking out the existing expansion joints 25mm to 40 mm wide and upto required depth by appropriate hand tool (Chisel and hammer or L hook) including removing the existing sealing compound from the edges with knife or anyother means such as chisel and hammer and grinding tool without damaging the edges and sides of the joints and removing the loose particle using wire brush and hot comprssed air and priming the sidesof joints as per manufactures instruction, provision of 30 to 40 mm thick polyethylene back up rod or appropriate de bonding strip at bottom of joints and sealing the joints with 15mm ( minimum depth of sealant) pitch free grey polyurethane sealant confirming to BS-5212 type FB and applying masking tape on edges or joints to prevent accidental spillage on top of surface and to give a neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant applied, the sealant should have MAF (+ / -) 30 and complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for cleaning and racking out the existing Contraction joints (Dummy Joints ) 8mm to 10mm wide and upto required depth by appropriate hand tool (Chisel and hammer or L hook) including removing the existing sealing compound from the edges with knife or anyother means such as chisel and hammer and grinding tool without damaging the edges and sides of the joints and removing the loose particle using wire brush and hot comprssed air and priming the sides of joints as per manufactures instruction, provision of 10 to 12 mm thick polyethylene back up rod or appropriate de bonding strip at bottom of joints and sealing the joints with 10 mm ( minimum depth of sealant) pitch free grey polyurethane sealant confirming to BS-5212 type FB and applying masking tape on edges or joints to prevent accidental spillage on top of surface and to give a neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant applied, the sealant should have MAF (+ / -) 30 and complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for cleaning and racking out the existing Construction joints 8mm to 10mm wide and upto required depth by appropriate hand tool (Chisel and hammer or L hook) including removing the existing sealing compound from the edges with knife or anyother means such as chisel and hammer and grinding tool without damaging the edges and sides of the joints and removing the loose particle using wire brush and hot comprssed air and priming the sides of joints as per manufactures instruction, provision of 10 to 12 mm thick polyethylene back up rod or appropriate de bonding strip at bottom of joints and sealing the joints with 10- mm ( minimum depth of sealant) pitch free grey polyurethane sealant confirming to BS-5212 type FB and applying masking tape on edges or joints to prevent accidental spillage on top of surface and to give a neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant applied, the sealant should have MAF (+ / -) 30 and complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.
