Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr deep, in soft/loose soil including forming sides and bottom surfaces to required level / slope / gradients etc for taking down/laying of the pipe lines complete all as specified and directed at site. Note: The disturbed surfaces of roads/paths/plinth etc shall be made good by the contractor to match with the existing surfaces without any extra cost to Government)

Returning, filling in, excavated soil in trenches, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers of thickness not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for Dismantling the water mains from the delivery lines, lifting/taking up GI/UPVC Column pipes, pumping sets of any description and in any position including submersible cable after disconnecting pumping sets from cable, repairs to the defective submersible cable and jointing of submersible cable, pump and motors by using water proofing jointing kit, replacement of defective column pipes, and including Lowering of submersible pump Sets, submersible cable, column pipes, reonnecting main delivery mains as existing and testing for satisfactory running and continuous flow of water etc complete all as directed by Engineer in charge in bore wells at various locations under GE(A) Bhuj Note: 1 Repair to Motor & Pumping sets, cable and column pipes etc. shall be measured and paid seperately. 2. Contractor shall take proper precautions while lifting out and removing pump set from bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable. All necessary T&P and equipments required for lifting out and lowering pump set etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost.

Dismantling and strip opening of submersible pump & motor of any description and in any position for servicing / overhauling, cleaning, oiling / greasing, fixing of serviceable parts in position, removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts and reassembling the pump and motor, ensuring proper alignment of pump and motor, fixing in position, connecting to existing system and testing at site on full load to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge for the pumps & motors of capacity 20HP to 50 HP, three phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, AC supply complete all as specified and directed. Note: - (i) The replacement of defective / unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid separately as “Supply only” under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ and fixing rate for new items are deemed to include under this item only. (ii) Burnt out windings of motor shall be replaced, measured and paid separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ for rewinding. (iii) (a) The rates for above items are deemed to include transportation of pumps/ motors to and from workshop as approved by Engineer-in-charge for necessary repairs, alignment and testing of pump and motors at workshop. (b) Re-metalling to Pump shaft, polishing and grinding and making standard size to matching with Gun Metal Bush / Neck-ring shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ (iv) Lifting of pump and motor from bore well and lowering of pump and motor after repairs shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A'.

Taking out and removing old burnt out windings of the submersible electric motors of any description and in any positio three phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, AC supply.capacity and rewinding of submersible electric motors with existing size PVC insulated, copper conductor as approved by the engineer-in-charge including cleaning the slots with carbon- tetra-chloride solution before rewinding & testing on full load etc complete all as specified and directed :- Note : (i) The windeing wire shall be of make ATLAS/FINOLEX (ii) The rate quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to include the cost of, transportation to site, fixing / lowering in position (a) 30 to 45 HP, three phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, AC supply.
