REPAIRS / REPLACEMENT OF EXISTING EARTHING, LIGHTENING ARRESTER AND ASSOCIATED MISC WORK AT AF STN SURYALANKA

Taking down carefully existing copper strip of various size fixed in position as lightening conductor/ eqpt earthing from roof/wall and buried in ground including making good the disturbed surfaces etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in replacment of Copper strip of size 32x6 mm in position with burried the strip of depth not less than 60cm where directed and fixing on wall/plinth with necessary arrangements at any height after proper cleaning, obtained from item No 1

M&L for replacement of existing earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60×60cm.× 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less'than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected sing galvanised iron strip 32×6mm as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion

Taking down carefully existing GI strip of various size fixed in position as lightening conductor/ eqpt earthing from roof/wall and buried in ground including making good the disturbed surfaces etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of Gunmetal testing point complete by disconnecting existing earthing testing point and reconnect after fixing testing point all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge

Supply and fixing in replacment of GI strip of size 32x6 mm in position with burried the strip of depth not less than 60cm where directed and fixing on wall/plinth with necessary arrangements at any height after proper cleaning, obtained from item No 4

M&L for preventive maintenance/fault maintenance of equipment earthpits pipe/plate, chemical, GI plate earthing by dismentling the test point, scaping the test point terminals, upbring the wornout nuts, bolts, washers, reharging the earth with suitable chemicals compouns till achieving the desired values.

M&L for refixing of broken/unfixed copper/GI strip by providing ceramic porcelain insulators on walls complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

M&L for checking the earth values by dismentling earth strips from test points though suitable quipments and refixing as it was all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for refilling earth gel in chemical earthing by digging upto suitable height and refilling the excavated soil after refilling the earth gel all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
