REPAIR/MAINT AND ATTENDING DAY TO DAY EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY COMPLAINTS, INCLUDING REPAIR/REPLACEMENT/ CLEANING OF PVC OH TANKS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN DOMESTIC AND TECHNICAL AREA AT AF STATION NALIYA

Labour only for attending day to day external / treated water supply complaints of all any floor/nature i.e leakage in water supply pipe lines / HDPE Pipe lines / STP treated water pipe line , fitting / fixture, over flow of overhead tank, no water supply, taking out water from trenches during repair including noting the complaints in complaint register complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Any material required for attending complaints shall be measured and paid separately under respective item herein after as supply only. Quoted rates include the following:- (i) The complaints shall be attended and the defects shall be rectified by a team of expert and experienced plumber as applicable assisted with adequate No of helpers as directed. (ii) The complaints shall be attended and defect shall be rectified within 08 hrs commencing from date and time of notifying the complaint failing which a penalty @ Rs 50/- per complaint per day (08 hrs) shall be levied upon/imposed on the contractor and recovery shall be made from contractor's dues.Contractor rep shall be available wef 0800 hrs to 2000 Hrs to receive and notify the complained (iii) In case, after checking and attending the defect, it is not possible to rectify the defects within 08 hrs the facts shall be brought to the notice of Engineer-in -charge by the contractor /his rep . If Engineer -in-charge is satisfied with contractors view, no recovery will be made. (iv) while attending the complaint of water supply if earth work is required then the same shall be measured and paid seperately under appropriate item of Sch 'A' . However no extra payments shall be made for dewatering. (v) Cutting of GI pipe in position, threading and fittings & fixtures like bend, Tee, Nipple, Socket, reducer, end plug of any type and size as per site requirement are also deemed to be included in the job rate. (vi) All T & P required for attending the complaints shall be provided by the contracor. (vii) The pipe fitter shall always be in possession of die set complete with cutters , Taps , Pipe wrench, Chain wrench,Caulking tools, Complete set of spanners, pidilite solution for pipe jointing, taflon taps and ladders required for attending compliants etc as required at site.

Supply only in replacement PTMT float valve with epoxy coated aluminium rod and high density plastic ball of size 20 mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only 15 mm bore Bib tap standard of PTMT any colour high pressure screwed for male/ female treaded of size 15mm bore complete all as specified and directed

Excvation in trenches not exc. 1.5 mtr wide and not exc 1.5 mtr deep for pipe line in hard/dense soil, getting out and levelling of bottom surface to required all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Returning filling, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and lay in repairs of 20mm dia for 3 layer (inner antimicrobial, outer UV stabalized) ISI marked, IS- 15801, PP-R, SDR 7.4, (PN16) (Polypropyelene random copolymer), and PP-R plain fittings of any type like coupling, elbow, tee, reducers elbow, reducer, reducer tee, union, tank connector, long plug, plain union, female/male threaded coupling, tee, threaded elbow all etc complete as per site requirement laid on walls/trenches of following sizes complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Finloex/SFMC/Prince/Supreme

Disconnecting, setting aside (or lowering if required ) and cleaning and removing all scale and dirt etc from HDPE water tanks (tanks placed on top of roof) and from mouths of circulating pipes etc, including washing the tank with bleaching powder and hoisting reconnecting and re-fixing in position including writing the date of cleaning of tank with synthetic enamel (black/white) paint of size not less than 10.0 cm of each letter complete all as specified and as directed for Not exceeding and including 500 ltrs.

All as per item Ser No 24.00 above but exceeding 500 ltrs and upto and including 1000 ltrs

S& F in repairs covers lid for 500/1000 litrs PVC over head tank complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Labour only for fixing of 500/1000 Ltrs sintex tank with necessary tank nipple and union, making inlet and outlet connections all etc complete as specified and directed

All as per item No 40 above but for 50 mm bore GI Pipe.
