M & L for taking down carefully Transformer / Isolation transformer of capacity from 63 KVA to 100 KVA, any make, any type from pole / plinth/ base, disconnecting HT & LT side connections, earthing strip of transformer, supporting angles, cross arm, shifting / transporting transformer carefully from the site to the workshop opening the top cover of the transformer, bushing, draining of oil from the transformer, lifting the core complete taking out defective coils from the core, cleaning the tank and reassembling the transformer after carrying out the repairs/replacement of worn out part, ovening the complete unit till to get desired megger value, transporting returning back to the site installing re-commissioning and testing of the transformer at its original place, connecting up HT & LT sides, earthings, supports / cross arms etc all as directed by EIC Note: (i) Spares, Rewinding of transformer,reinsulating & heating if required will be measured and paid separately under respective Sch'A' items (ii) T&P required , rent of vehicle, crane, labour involved for shifting, lifting are deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

M & L for Rewinding old / burnt out HT/LT coils by super enameled copper winding wire / strips of appropriate size of super quality (as per existing material & size of transformer coils) including, insulating, varnishing, heating, keeping coils in position, etc for transformer up to 315 KVA.

M & L for Re-insulation of heated / weak LV coils of transformer by super quality insulating materials, heating, varnishing, etc complete to improve IR value etc complete all as directed by EIC.

M & L for Dehydration and filtration of transformer oil / Voltage stabilizer / VLE switch & Isolation Transformer by using mobile dehydration and filtration plant, heating and filtering the transformer oil to be carried out till the di- electric strength reaches value of 50 KV/mm or above in one minute, for any capacity of transformer/Viltage stabilizer/VLE Switch & Isolation Transformer (25 to 315 KVA/ VLE SWITCHES) Note: Cost of T&P required for dehydration and filteration should be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. No extra cost will be paramissible to the contractor in this regard.

Supply and topping / replacement of transformer oil having di-electric strength above 50 KV/mm of Transformer chamber and conservator with new transformer oil up to the required level in any type and capacity of transformer / OCB all as directed by EIC. Note: Transformer oil brought by the contractor at site shall be in seal packing drum having ISI mark as per IS 335/1983 of make Savita, Asian or equivalent as approved by GE.

M & L for servicing of GOD assembly , cleaning the rusted surfaces of fixed and moving contacts, applying grease , replacing the wornout jumper clamps / jumpers upto 2mtr length, nuts/bolts etc, checking for proper alignment and smooth working of GOD all as directed. Note: The items for replacement of GOD, DO, HT joints etc will be measured and paid separately, if required

M & L for Calibration of VCB / RMU relay by injecting High voltage through CTS checking the over load system of VCB upto 90 % rated load and artificial fault creation and setting of relay by 10 to 15 % of rated load removing u/s overload and earh fault relay including connection with power pack.Opening out the trolly checking the operation of VCB mechanically and electrically through shunt trip coil including energizing of springs automatically including checking of TNC switch.Testing and commissioning all as directed. Note: (i) Maintenance to be carried out the reps of authorised firm. (ii) After completion test certificate shall be furnished from OEM.

M & L for maintenance of VCB / RMU11 KV, 400/ 630 /1200 Amps including removal of VCB trolley, cleaning of all copper male and female contact, tightening of all connections, checking of all auxiliary contacts, control wiring, servicing of relays, etc. refixing the VCB trolley to its original position including proper setting of manual/motorize operation of VCB, checking/setting of tripping system, etc complete. Note: (i) Maintenance to be carried out the reps of authorised firm. (ii) After completion test certificate shall be furnished from OEM

M & L for replacement of 11/12 KV 20/40 Amp, fuse links for distribution circuits (for use in OCB) suitable for MEI make 11 KV VLE unit fuse carries assembly of make GE /L&T/Siemens as approved by GE.

S & F in replacement Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for indoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 to 95 Sqmm 3 core all as directed.

All as per item No.30 above but of size 120 to 185 sqmm

S & F Battery for HT VCB auto control of 7AH 12V for power bank all as directed EIC.

S & F in replacement of Potetial Transformer 11 KV / 110 V 50Hz of VCB all as directed by EIC. Make: CG/ ABB / L&T or equivalant as approved by GE.

S & F in replacement of suitable Current Transformer, range of CT for VCB of bus bar capacity upto 1250 Amps all as specified and as directed by EIC.

M & L for Maintenance / Servicing of Servo Voltage stabilizer by OEM rep of capacity upto 160 KVA 3 phase 440 volts 50 Hz including cleaning, checking oil level and brazing / soldering if required , replacement of control panel spare parts as electronic circuit card / volt meter / amp meter / Trigger Transformer etc of servo Voltage Stabilizer .checking each phase voltage, Testing and commissioning complete all as directed. Note: Spare parts if required shall be paid separately

S&F in replacement of Electronic circuit card (PCB) all as specified and as directed by EIC.

S & F in replacement heavy duty capacitors of size 3 PH1 KVAr for non linear load 440 Volts AC,3 phase, 50 Hz delta connection for APFC all as specified and directed. Make: Havell's or equivalent of make L&T / Siemens as approved by GE.

All as per item No.42 above but Capacitor of size 3Ph 2 KVAr

M & L for scraping of old painted surfaces of Two pole structure including all nuts bolts,GOD/DO,channel,cross arm & street light brackets etc., complete and painting with a coat of silver colour aluminium paint all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item No.35 above but surfaces of four pole structure

M & L for replacement for 11/12 KV 1 / 3.15 Amp, fuse links for distribution circuits (for use in VCB PT) suitable for VCB voltage Transformer unit fuse carries assembly. Make: GE /L&T/Siemens or equivalant

S & F in replacement of VCB spring Charging motor 24 Volts DC (as per site requirment) with gear assembly all as directed by EIC.

S & F in replacement of Power Pack for VCB control system of 230 Input and 24 Volts output with fuse protection all as directed by EIC. Make: MAX Power or equivalent as approved by GE.

S & F in replacement Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for Straight through heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 to 95 Sqmm 3 core all as directed.

All as per item No.52 above but cable of size 120 to 185 sqmm

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 m depth and n.exc 1.5m in width, n.exc. 10 sqm on plan for foundation etc and getting out in hard / dense soil all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in soil including spreading leveling watering & well ramming in layers n.exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance n.exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc. 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for providing dry river sand as in cushioning to under ground cable including punning down of sand in layer all as specified and directed by Engg-in-Charge. Note: For measurement purpose punned thickness of sand will be considered.

Supply and Lay factory made un reinforced precast concrete cable cover HV Type I with flat size 300mm X 180mm X 40mm.

S & F in replacement 100mm bore GI tubing light grade including all fittings, laid in trenches, fixed to walls and ceilings or laid in floors complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for precast cement concrete block masonry (type D5,1:5:8) with solid block exc 10cm in width and set in CM (1:6) etc all as specified and as directed.

Taking out unserviceable / serviceable HT cables from excavated trenches, ducts, wall, pole etc including removing cable covers, sand, cable joints, pipes, clamps etc, taking out old serviceable cables for reuse and removing unserviceable cables, covers etc, for the sizes of cables 95 / 120 Sqmm all as directed by Engg in charge.

S & F in replacement of XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded,galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavyduty) with aluminium conductor, HT 11000 volts, grade cross sectional area 120 sqmm 3 core of size cable in trenches/fixed to poles/wall, all as specified and directed by EIC. Note: Excavation, earthwork, cable joints, sand coushing & cable cover will be measured and paid separately if required.

All as per item No.62 above but cable of size 95 sqmm 3 core

Laying only in replacement of cable in trenches / duct passing through pipe / duct or fixed on pole and connecting and testing XLPE insulated, PVC inner sheathed, armoured with galvanised steel strip or wire, heavy duty, HT underground cable ISI marked including removing existing cable of any size complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for erection of Precast HT cable route / cable path indicator,made out of PCC 1:2:4 ,type Bo,12.5 mm graded stone aggregates of size 100 Cm (Height) x 12 Cm (Width) x 8 Cm (Thichness), painted with orange colour lettering synthetic paint and letters 4 inch "DANGER,HT 11 KV CABLE" to be written with black colour lettering synthetic paint and embedded in PCC block 1:3:6 type C2 (using 40mm graded aggregate) of size 15cm x 15cm x 20cm including necessary excavation for PCC block, placed at interval of every 30m ,complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode of size 60cmx60cm x 3.15 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to depth not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to and including copper strip of 20 x 3 mm as earth lead up to 7.5 mtr long fixed by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers etc. of galvanised iron or steel including provn of HDPE protection pipe light grade of 32/40mm bore and connected to earth strip earthing test point all as shown in electrical plate No.5 of SSR Part-I 2009 and as specified or indicated and testing on completion including necessary excavation & earthwork in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, precast slab 50mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4)type B1 (reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (XPM) of weight not less than 4kg/sqm) with frame, funnel with watering pipe of 15mm bore Sch.40, wire mesh and lugs, test point etc. complete. S & F in replacement of electrical insulating Mat (electromat) ClassC, B.I.S.+ CPRI + ERDA approved , as per 15652 ; 2006, size 1 Mtr x 5 Mtr, thickness 2.5 to 3 mm for system voltage 11 KV Min colour blue, Finish one side plain/one side patterned (Antiskid design), having tensile strength of 15N/mm for temperature range of -10 to 55 degree centigrade, insulation resistance with water 1000000 m ohm (min), leakage current ; 10 uA (Max) flame retardant, No effect of Trasformer oil , Acid, Diesel, Alkali all as directed by engineer in charge.
