Preparation of sub-grade in SMB by excavating upto 20 cm avg depth, dressing excavated earth to required camber or super elevation and consolidating with power roller incl watering & disposal of surplus earth within a lead of 30 mtr as specified in MoRT&H Specification on Road & Bridge works (Fifth Revision), Particular Specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge/OC Contract.

GSB (Ist Layer) 10 Cm Thick (compacted) with stone aggregate conforming to grading No 1 as per table 400-1 of MoRT&H specifications for roads and bridges works including supply of material spreading in layers watering and compaction as specified in Particular Specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge/OC Contract.

GSB (IInd Layer) 10 Cm Thick (compacted) with stone aggregate conforming to grading No 1 as per table 400-1 of MoRT&H specifications for roads and bridges works including supply of material spreading in layers watering and compaction.

WMM (Ist Layer): Providing, laying and compacting Wet Mix Macadam in 75 mm compacted layer with clean crushed graded aggregates conforming to MoRT&H Clause 406, Table 400-12 and Table 400-13, premixed with water at OMC in approved WMM plant with controlled addition of water and forced/positive mixing, transported, laid to required line, level, grade and camber, compacted with approved vibratory roller to specified density, tested and accepted before laying subsequent layer, complete as per Particular Specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge / OC Contract. Unit: Sqm at 75 mm compacted accepted thickness.

Providing, laying and compacting Dense Bituminous Macadam, DBM Grading 1, 75 mm compacted thickness, conforming to MoRT&H Clause 505 and Tables 500-8, 500-9 and 500-10, using approved viscosity grade paving bitumen selected as per MoRT&H Table 500-1 and approved Job Mix Formula; minimum binder content 4.0 percent by mass of total mix for DBM Grading 1, subject to aggregate specific gravity correction and approved JMF; including approved filler, anti-stripping agent if required, HMP mixing, covered/insulated transportation, laying by sensor paver, compaction, testing, traffic control and all incidental operations complete. Unit: Sqm at 75 mm compacted accepted thickness.

Providing, laying and compacting Bituminous Concrete, BC Grading 2, 40 mm compacted thickness, conforming to MoRT&H Clause 507, Table 500-16 and Table 500-17, over prepared and accepted bituminous bound surface after application of tack coat, using approved viscosity grade paving bitumen selected as per MoRT&H Table 500-1 and approved Job Mix Formula; minimum binder content 5.4 percent by mass of total mix for BC Grading 2, subject to aggregate specific gravity correction and approved JMF; including approved mineral filler, anti-stripping agent if required, HMP mixing, covered/insulated transportation, laying by sensor paver, compaction, testing, traffic control and all incidental operations complete. Unit: Sqm at 40 mm compacted accepted thickness.

Providing and applying tack coat with RS-1 grade cationic bitumen emulsion conforming to IS:8887 or approved low-viscosity VG-10 paving bitumen, as directed, by self-propelled or towed bitumen pressure distributor on clean prepared primed granular / bituminous surface at 2.5 kg per 10 sqm or at the applicable rate under MoRT&H Table 500-5 as approved after spraying trial, with no dilution or heating of RS-1 emulsion at site, allowing curing until volatiles evaporate before laying subsequent bituminous course, complete as per MoRT&H Clause 503.

Providing and applying prime coat with SS-1 grade cationic bitumen emulsion conforming to IS:8887 on prepared WMM/granular base surface, after cleaning with mechanical broom and high-pressure air jet, by self-propelled or towed bitumen pressure distributor at 7.5 kg per 10 sqm or as approved by Engineer-in-Charge after spraying trial, without heating or dilution of SS-1 emulsion at site, allowing curing for not less than 24 hours or as directed, and protecting the primed surface from traffic except construction traffic required for next course, complete as per MoRT&H Clause 502.
