Upgradation/ Augumentation of Central Air Conditioning plant of Simulator building with existing Cap of 2 X 24 TR + one standby of capacity 1 X 24 TR scroll type water based chiller plant completes in all respect with LT panels, AHUs, Cooling Towers etc. The complete Job includes augmentation/modification in the existing central Air Conditioning with the following as under mentioned items. Note :- Any minor changes due to design requirements shall be included in Unit rate and nothing extra will be paid to contractor.

Repairing of Existing 24 TR Water Cooled Scroll Chiller-Bluestar make

Repairing with replacement of existing Micro-processor Based Control panel of Make : Blue Star complete in all respect with all electrical switchgear connections including MCB C-50A : 02 Nos, Single phase preventer VSP-3 Make Minilec : 02 Nos, Relay, sensing transformer : 02 Nos, Contractor MNX50 : 02 Nos, CT 100 A / 05: 02 Nos , PCB with Display Unit : 01 Nos etc of the bluestar water cooled chiller plant Cat Part No : XWC2S-026AR2 with R-407C refrigerant based Scroll type of 25.1 TR Capacity .The job includes replacement of complete internal and outer micorcontroller cards and display to achieve following conditions as underlined :- (Make of contactor/switch gear : L&T / Siemens/Schneider

Chilled Water Pumps

Supply, Installation Testing & Commissioning of Chilled Water circulation system, comprise of Vertical Long Coupled Single Stage, Single Suction type Inline Centrifugal Pumps, complete with C.I. Casing. Suction and Discharge connections shall be of same size. Impellers shall be made of Gunmetal Bronze and shall be fully closed type. Pumps shall be dynamically balanced and two plane balancing is required for the pumps if impeller diameter is less than 6 times the width of the impeller. Pump Shaft shall be made of Stainless Steel (SS416), Coupling shall be rigid spacer type made of high tensile aluminum alloy, shall be designed for easy removal on site.

The pump design shall meet the requirements of easy removal of mechanical seal components for servicing, replacement without disturbing the pump or motor. TEFC Sq. Cage, non-Over-loading type Motor with efficiency level of IE3. Mechanical Seal shall be Stainless Steel multi-spring with secondary seal, carbon rotating face and silicon carbide stationary seat. Gland plate shall be made of SS316 Stainless Steel. Factory fitted flush line to the mechanical seal for better life. It should not require disturbing the motor and pump to replace the Mechanical Seal. Pumps need to be Bearing Free. Pump shall have M.S. pre-fabricated factory fitted base frame duly painted.

Panel Construction and Casing

Frame: Extruded Aluminum Hollow Profile, the profile box shall be of minimum 45 ± 2 mm, Frame should be assembled using glass fiber reinforced nylon joints/ corner.

Panel shall be double construction ,insulated with Rockwool having density 96 ± 2 Kg/M3. Rockwool insulation shall be sandwiched between the sheets Effective thickness of Sandwich Panel shall be 43 ±2 mm

Inner Skin : 1.00 mm Thk. GSS Powder Coated with minimum 50 micron thickness.

AHU shall have Water Tight Positive Pressure access/ service door duly interlocked with fan. AHU shall have Thermally insulated totally sealed glass inspection window. Pre- Filter Section

Pre-Filter (EU- 4 ) having efficiency of 90 % down to 10 µ.

Chilled Water Coil Section

Chilled Water Cooling Coils shall be suitable for following capacities . The cooling coil shall have 6 Rows Deep having suitable coil face area. Copper tube thickness shall be 0.4mm, Tube Dia 12.7mm, Drain Pan material shall be SS-304 and drain Pan thickness 18 gauge duly insulated, No of Aluminum Fins per Sq. inch : 12 to 13 having thickness of 0.15mm. Compensating Heater Section of 60 kW

► Compensating Heater Section shall be suitable for Thyristor Control Operation. ► Compensating Heater Rating : 60 kW. ► Compensating Heater shall be provided in the AHU on return air side with approximate section width shall be around 600 mm. ► Heater banks shall be designed for optimum output. ( e.g. 4 heater banks of each 15 KW capacity, 3.0 KW per heater, 5 heaters per bank) ► Air heaters shall be manufactured out of S.S. 316L sheathed tube for higher temperature upto 600 C. Each heating element is made of NiCr 80/20 resistance wires. ► Each element shall be provided with two adjustable fixing arrangements. Tube diameter shall varies from 8.0mm to 15mm ►Fins of S.S. shall be provided to enlarge the heat surface. ►Supply Voltage shall varies from 74V to 240V/AC/1PH/50-60Hz.

Fan Section

SISW Backward PLUG/Plenum fans shall be coupled with IE3 VFD compatible Motor

SISW Backward PLUG/Plenum Fan , shall be licensed to bear the AMCA Air and Sound Certified Ratings Seal. The test standard used shall be ANSI/AMCA 210-85, ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 51-1985 “Laboratory Method of Testing Fans for Rating” and AMCA 300 “Reverberant Room Method for Sound Testing of fans”.

Fan shall be dynamically trim (Two stage) balanced to ISO1940 and AMCA 204/3 - G2.5 quality grade after assembly.

Fan Impeller should be made of Cold Rolled sheet steel polyester powder coating, Fan Inlet Cone must be Spurn GSS having GSM 220, zero sprangle .

Impeller should be directly coupled on Motor shaft to avoid any maintenance & to save drive transmission losses.

Fan assembly should be mounted on Cushy foot mounted Vibration isolator, No Sprint mount isolator for Plug fans

Quality of the fan should be with respect to its international standard.

Fan RPM should be controlled thru VFD to achieve require RPM

Fan performance curve should be of Single RPM curve. It should not be multi RPM curve

Motor should be VFD compatible, IE3, TEFC, 50HZ,415V, IP 55 protect foot mounted Motor &shall be of a minimum 130% of the fan power absorbed (Brake horsepower) and shall have sufficient torque available for starting and continuous operation.

Note : AHU manufacturer should not fabricate Fan motor structure etc. at their manufacturing unit and they should supply entire assembly from fan manufacturer

Fan Outlet velocity should not exceed 9.2 M/Sec.

Damper Section

AHU Electrical Panel with VFD

Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of AHU VFD Panel for HVAC System. The Panel Shall be Cubical Type, constructed from 14 SWG CRCA Sheet Steel , suitable for indoor installation. Dust/Vermin proof floor mounted. with IP-42 protection. Panel should be powder coated and as per IS-7032 Shade. Floor Mounting Panel with Non compartmentalized arrangement and powder coated color for back, Side Covers & frame RAL 7035 and Base Frame RAL-7021

Sections shall be bonded to the surface of pipe with adhesive fevicol SR 998 and binded with metal binding wire, apply fevicol AC Duct Lag Coating AF:5590 on insulated surface uniformly and wrap the Glass Cloth tightly with over lapping so that no gaps are left and no air pockets are formed. Structural Steel

Installation & Fabrication of ISI mark structural steel in form of MS angles, channels, flats etc. for supporting various items of equipment such 'as various panels, cable trays, DB etc. including drilling, welding grouting, chipping, bolting with supply of required hardware including anchor fasteners required for mounting. Fabricated and installed structural steel shall be suitably painted with 2 coats of epoxy paint after applying 2 coats of red oxide primer. Color shade of supports shall be same as that of main shade of support structure or will be as per site engineers’ approval. The Types & sizes shall be as site condition.

Material and Labour for the complete periodical servicing and maintenance of the complete Centralised Air Conditioning plant of any type and capacity with all its allied accessories i.e Chillers complete in all respect. The Job includes servicing of the Air Conditioning Plant with the descaling of the Chillers with suitable chemical solution for the maint of the optimum temp and RH. The contractor will engaged trained refg mechanic alongwith two helpers for the Descaling of the plant with complete tool and plants and good quality of decasling chemical etc whichever required or directed by Eng-in-Charge. for the plant. It also includes,checking of all the moveable parts of the plant, its greasing, topping up of compressor oils, cleaning of the all the filters with suitable chemical with brush T&P etc.

The contractor will do the descaling in a certain proportion and upto 24 hrs. The minimum descaling hrs should be not less than 12 hrs for the contionous circulating the cleaning liquid with a closed circuit. Immersion process is necessary before circulation. The job also include complete cleaning of the plant with alkali solution after descaling and physical cleaning with suitable brush and shaft etc. The job includes checking of the electrical connection etc.

Dismantling of wall and ceiling boards (fibre, pulp, insulation etc) or insulation borads/slabs/blankets, any thickness including cover fillets complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of timber fillet, rails, post, rafters, purlin, etc under 40 Sqcm in secvtion unfvramed or framed work complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting opening by means of diamond cutter/mechanised T&P from Hilti through brick walls built in cement mortar without damaging the existing structure, wall panelings,floors and false ceiling etc at different heights upto 8.00 M from FFL and making good the disturbed surfaces and 15 mm thick in CM 1:4 plastering to the sides of opening for accomodating air ducts. Opening in wall are required to be made more than the effective size so that MS channels as in lintels and wooden frame work in the prepared openings are inserted leaving the required effective size of openingforpassing air ducts. Necessary scaffoldings to reach at required height from FFL, temporary suspensions made out of polythene sheets/cloths is required to be made to prevent dispersal of dust & debries etc adjoining equipments held inside the room. Necessary rubbish off the permises and cleaning of floors complete all as directed is included in the cost of Job. Items fof MS channels in lintel and wooden frame work fixed in the openings will be measured & paid for seperately under respective items of Schdule. S & F 2nd class hrad wood (SAL) scantling, clean sawn in any position and any description as in timber framed work complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.50 m wide and not exc. 1.50 m in depth for foundation etc. or for manholes, cesspits, shafts etc. not exc. 10 Sqm on plan and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing plain cement concrete 1:3:6, type C-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size bricks straight or curved on plan exc. 6.00 m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick in each layer as in soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus excavated material (SOIL) to distance not exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.50 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate), as in copings, bed block for embedding hold fasts, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles & throating as directed including necessary form work as required complete all as specified and directed.

S & F rolled mild steel sections as in compound girder and stanchions, lattice girder, aerial mast, staging for water tank and the like including caps, bases, splices etc. built up from two or more beam or channel sections or angles with plates including all lattice bars, stiffener, gusset plates etc conforming to Fe – 410-W (Grade – E 250) quality-A complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of new or previously untreated steel and iron surfaces of any description, over 10 cm width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 15 mm thick fine fissured board of size 600X600 mm mineral fibre accoustic false ceiling tiles CAT Part No. 1833 M of ARMSTRONG false ceiling system at any height with back of the duly sanded and finished with a coat of protective paint and front duly finished and fixed to true lock PVC dle KL-24 suspension system (hot dipped galvanised steel section ) of exposed T-section grid with exposed face powder coated white colour. The suspension system consisting of parameter wall angle of size 24X24mm of thickness 0.45 mm of GS sheet to secure on walls /partition face with the help of rawl plug @ 450 mm c/c universal main runner of T-shape section with single rotary stitching of size 38X24 mm made from 0.35 mm GS sheet of length 3.6 mtr to be spaced at 1200 mm c/c CRO runner T-shape with double rotary stitching of size 30X24 mm of length 1200 mm made from 0.25 mm thick GS sheet spaced @ 600 mm c/c 1200X600 mm of size modules intermediate T-shaped cross runner of size of size 25X24 mm of length 600 mm made of 0.25 mm thick GS sheet to from 600 X 600 mm size of module including suspension of the ceiling frame from the RCC roof /structural member with soffit angle cleat and dash fasteners and required member of GI suspender of 4 mm thick GI wire and level adjuster all complete and including cost of making opening for light fitting diffusers cut out etc to the required line and shape as per manufacturer recommandations and Arch drg complete all as specified and directed.

MANNING & OPERATION OF CENTRAL TYPE AC PLANTS & DG SET AT FMS SIMULATOR BLDG AT AF STN BAREILLY :- Services for comprehansive operation of Central AC plant of capacity of 48 TR installed at FMS Simulator at AF Stn Bareilly after satisfactory completion of Phase-I test & augmentation works in round 'o' clock basis in three shift by experienced and well acquainted persons with the operation of automatic AHU Panel, LT Panel, DG Sets, all control & instrumentations of Central AC Plant and also carring out works as mentioned below :- (a) Maintaining running records of AC Plant & all control instruments fitted in integrated AC system & enter in daily log sheet on hourly basis & record outside & inside temperature & humidity. Format for log sheet is enclosed. (b) Daily, Weekly & Monthly maintenance of AC Plant, LT Panel, AHU Panel; control / instrumentations switches etc by cleaning, greasing, tightening of nuts & bolts/lugs and checking of various meters for measurement of current voltage, pressure / temperature, flow (water / air) etc and maintain the record to that effect in routine maintenance register. (c) To maintain hygine & cleaness of AC Plant & its mounting and accessories
