Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundation etc for laying of cables, erection of poles, struts/ stays etc not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and getting out in soft loose soil.

Returning, filling in, including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in any type of soil.

Removing excavated materials to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed, at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point in soils.

M & L for sand filling in trenches for cushioning of LT cables punning after filling complete as specified and as directed. Note: Punned thickness shall only be measured and paid

Supply and lay un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover , class , LV , Type I flat size 250 x 150 x 40 mm laid dry in treches over under ground cables.

S & F GI pipe, light grade, of size 50 mm dia including necessary fittings laid in trenches/fixed on wall/pole for LT cable protection and taking down the old GI pipe, complete all as speicifed and directed for cable protection .

Disconnecting, taking out, removing old existing unserviceable LT underground cable and Supplying ,Laying, jointing and testing new XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty, LT aluminum conductor cable 1100 volts grade ,laid in trenches/ducts, floors, fixed to walls etc. complete all as specified and directed of size 2 core 6 sqmm

M&L for refreshing of incomming and all outgoing XLPE cable at panels /DBs of any size,disconnection of cable , including excavation for taking out cable from loop, refreshing of exsiting all cables by removing damaged insulation portion, providing insulation using best quality insulation tape ,cleaning of panel inside and ouside using vaccum cleaner ,including removing old damaged lugs/thimble with new one as per existing size, MS nuts ,bolts,washer to all incomming and outgoing MCCB as sepcfied and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for repair of LT panel doors using 75 mm SS hinges, SS latch, including welding work all as specfied and directed by Enginner-in-charge.

M&L for spray painting of LT panel inside and outside surface, including surface prepration by scrubbing of existing paint, and applying two coat of synthtic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide, colour of paint & pattern as per exsiting all as specfied and directed by Enginner-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repiars the following items and disconnecting,taking out the old unserviceable one, including necessary replacemnet of lugs ,nuts,bolts lugs of any size and capacity wherever reqd :-

Supply, erecting and fixing in true vertical position, Prestressed cement concrete pole 9 mtr long confirming to IS-1678 (latest) with minimum cross sectional area 102 mm x 152 mm at top and 102 mm x 289 mm at bottom , class - 10 with and Including all necessary excavation & earth work in any type of soil for foundation of poles, PCC 1:3:6 type (C-2) (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate ) in foundations of size 1.20 m X 0.60 m X 1.65 m below GL, PCC 1:2:4 type (B- 1 )(using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) in plinth block(coping) of size 600 X 600 X 300 mm above GL , removing surplus soil to a distance n. exc. 50 m & depositing where directed, including necessary form work and and providing 3 Nos of 30cm wide circular bands with black & yellow paint starting from plinth level at a gap of 30cm in between 2 bands and numbering of poles, and numbering of the poles shall be done with synthetic enameled painted letter of shape & size complete( M&L)all as specified and directed. (Note -SSR part I clause No.19.5 & 19.52 and other relevant clauses of SSR refers for execution of work and poles shall be procured directly from the manufacturer mentioned in tender documents.)

S&F PVC insulated spacers, 12mm dia flexible type suitable for making / turning to any shape and size and suitable for 4 conductor runs including disconnecting, dismantling and taking down existing unserviceable spacers of any description and in any position from the LT electric overhead lines of any height complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : The spacer shall be of best quality and as per the sample kept in GE office.

Dismantling of old unserviceable stay assembly, and Supply and fix Stay assembly complete with all accessories as shown in electrical plate no. 1 of SSR Part - I ,1991, using stay rod 16 mm dla including stay wire. Note :- Excavation , earth work , foundation concrete ,loop insulator, stay clamps, for the new stay shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of schedule

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600mm X 600mm X 6mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level (with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 metre below ground level) connected tog galvanised iron strip 25×4mm as earthing lead , (main earthing lead) by means of galvanized bolts, nuts and washers all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Schedule Part-I (2009) with connected to earth test point & to main switch board with & including adequate quantity of charcoal dust and common salt alround earth plate & 15 mm dia GI pipe medium grade for earth lead protection pipe for suitable length and GI pipe 20 mm dia medium grade for watering pipe with funnel & wire mesh including necessary earth work and PCC (1: 3 : 6) type C-1 for earth pit and 40 mm thick precast RCC cover in 1 : 2 : 4 type B-1 with 3 Nos 8 mm dia TMT bars both ways with 12mm dia round bar handle complete all as specified & directed. NOTE: Earth strip and its protection pipe upto and including 7.5 mtr only from the top of earth electrode are included under this item and additional earth GI earth wire/protection pipe etc. if any required at site shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A’ NOTE - (i) The unit rate shall also include for earth work in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, RCC 1:2:4 type B1 cover 50mm thick reinforced, funnel with watering pipe. (ii) A colour photographe of earthing pit and test report of earthing will be submmited alongwith RAR witout which the RAR shall not be permmited for that items.

Supply and fix Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required of size 25 mm x 4mm aluminium strip all as specified and directed .

Supply and fix test point termination block of size 75 mm x 75 mm x 25 mm made of Gun Metal or phospherous bronze drilled and screwed including 3 Nos, 8 mm dia 25 mm long hex head screw and box of size 90 x 90 x 90 mm (Made out of 1.6 mm thickplain brass sheet) and screwed to wall for protection of test point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix porcelain type, pin type insulator including one galvanised MS spindle,two galvanised iron washer and one one galavanised iron nut ,50mm height,65mm dia for 1100 volt grade

Supply and fix shakle insulator porcelain type for LT of 1100V grade all as specifed and directed

S & F MS Frame work for fixing insulators, supporting channel, including cutting, Jointing, welding & necessary fabrication including provn of MS angle iron of any description complete as specified and as directed.

(1) The contractor shall keep all items readily available at site, which is required for urgent repair works.

(2) Common miscellaneous material such as screws any type, nails, washers, insulation tapes, clamps, hooks, which are required for the work the cost of which is deemed to be included in quoted rate.

(3) All tools & tackles, plants, machineries, equipment and material to carry out the work at site which is to be decided by GE (A) Bhuj shall have to be provided by the contractor at his/ her own cost.

(4) Contractor’s supervisor (electrical engineer) should be available at the site to supervise the works and co-ordinate with the officials.

(5) The contractor shall ensure safety of his workers and other at site of work and shall be responsible for any consequence arising out of execution of the repair and maintenance works.

(6) The contractor shall ensure that his repair/ maintenance staff is qualified and licensed for their part of work. He shall be responsible for their conduct. The contractor shall be held responsible for any loss or damage to employees’ state insurance corporates property.

(7) It is responsibility of contractor to clean the area after repair work of appliances. Rates are deemed to be include in his quoted rates of respective items.

(9) Any person of contractor causes damage of equipment or property of Military station, the contactor will be solely held responsible for the cost of consequences thereof.

(10) Joint measurement shall be done weekly. The contractor should be available for joint measurement along with supervisior on every Wednesday from 15.00 hr to 17.00hr
