Dismantling of the gate from its original by way of removal of hinge pins and removal of arm pins, the job includes dropping of the gate, dragging it out to the open spillway channel then turning it upside down, applying welding to the cracked portions after straightening including changing of damaged members if any. The work will include following men days.
Changing of base plates of foundation/drilling of holes after removing the residue and refixing of HT bolts M30 and refixing of foundation of Gates.
Fabrication of foundation hinges of gate out of MS steel 16mm thick along with wedges and drilling of hole to match the base plate as per sample.
Fabrication of brass bushes ID: 90mm OD:110mm Length: 200mm
Providing & fixing of gate foundation pins alongwith greasing mechanism 90mmx200mm long alongwith spacers.
Refixing of gate at its original position with help of chain pulley block and pulling by way of dragging it back after providing necessary welding to the damaged portion.
Providing and fixing of gate seals 200mm x 20mm along with nuts and bolts
Removal of old paint from the metallic surface with hand scraper, wire brushes and sand papers including final viping with MT oil to an even shade, (structure work) and then applying of primer coat with readily mixed red oxide zinc chromate primer of approved brand and manufacturer on steel galvanized iron/steel works and then finally painting with readily mixed epoxy paint of approved brand in all shades to give and even shade (two or more coats) reference No. SEG/Gen-I/PDC/07 of 2016 item No. 05
