Preparation of Consultancy service for strengthening of district and sub-district level rural water quality testing laboratories of PHED, Govt. of West Bengal for certification as per ISO/IEC 17025: 2017 accredited by NABL" as per direction of EIC under Public Health Engineering Department, which includes the following activities viz. a) Preparation of gap assessment questioners & submission of gap assessment report b) Providing consultancy support to 13 rural water quality testing laboratories for preparation of various documents & formats for maintaining of various recors envisaged in the tender documents. c) Conduct technical training for laboratory personnel pertaining to multifarious aspects of accreditation process. d) Provide technical assistance to 13 rural water quality testing laboratories in conducting Re-test, Replicate Test, Interlaboratory Comparison (ILC), Proficiency Testing (PT) for water quality parameters considered in the scope of accreditation and assist in third party calibration of relevant instrument and equipment used in the analysis of water quality parameters considered in the scope of accreditation. e) Preparation and submission of interim progress report based on the tasks accomplished to individual laboratory. f) Orient and providing technical assistance regarding various aspects as envisaged in tender document to the all personnel of 13 rural water quality testing laboratories. g) Provide technical assistance to the rural water quality testing laboratories for closing of ‘Non-conformance’ and prepare the laboratories for pre audit and final audit. h) Preparation and submission comprehensive report on approach adapted for achieving NABL accreditation (should include general and specific approaches – in case of individual laboratories)
