Bilges of Machinery Compartments: (After completion of painting, the firm has to offer satisfactory inspection to Ship staff, HITU team, paint reps on Stage wise).
To remove oil, oily water & sludge and Manual cleaning, degreasing to be done.
Power tooling to be done upto ST-2 standard for area -1000m2, follow by one coat primer - 1000m2.
Apply two full coats of paint (epoxy) for area - 2000m2.
Apply one full coat of epoxy paint for area - 4000m2.
Tanks-Void spaces, cofferdams, ballast tanks & fresh water tanks: Scope: a) Manual cleaning, mopping, degreasing, power tooling up to ST-3 std, following by primer & two coats of epoxy paint for void spaces, cofferdams, ballast tanks, fresh water tanks. NOTE: Removal / disposal of water, mud is covered in Contractor's Scope. After completion of painting, the firm has to offer satisfactory inspection to Ship staff, HITU team, paint reps on Stage wise.
Fuel oil tanks: a) Manual cleaning, mopping, degreasing & apply one coat of primer for damged area and remaining area mineral oil application. NOTE: Removal / disposal of oil, oily water, sludge is covered in Contractor's Scope. After completion of painting, the firm has to offer satisfactory inspection to Ship staff, HITU team, paint reps on Stage wise.
