Manning, Operation and maintenance to Heavy Lift store Fire Pump House along with DG set at MO(V) round the clock in three shifts a day of 08 hours each complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Man power: One skilled operator and one semi-skilled operator per shift of 08 hrs. Shift Timings Ist shift: 06.00 to 14.00, IInd Shift:- 14.00 to 22.00 III rd Shift: 22.00 to 06.00

Note:- (i) Rotationally checking/ operationg of fire fighting pump motors should maintained in separate register and format shall be as directed by EIC. (ii) In case any power failure DD pumpset/ DG set will be operated as early and HSD oil shall be issued by department. (iii) Fire hydrants as hydrant wise and fire fighting lines rotationally checked and checking details should be maintained in register as directed by EIC.

List of Plants to be operated are as under:- a) Fire (centrifugal) pump electric driven 2280 LPM, 70m head 01 No b) Jockey pump 180 LPM, 70m head 01 No c) Booster pump, 450 LPM, 36m head - 01 No. d) Fire (centrifugal) pump diesel driven 2280 LPM, 70m head - 01 No e) 100 KVA DG Set - 01 No.

NOTE:- The quoted rate is deemed to inclusive of (a) Maintence and operating the Sluice / Gate / Hydrant valves of fresh water and hydrant valves of heavy lift storage area , MO(V) round the clock complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (b) Trouble free sluice / gate valve operating and distribution of regular drinking water supply to the MO(V) old area complete. a) Before commencement of work the contractor shall submit the list of manpower to be employed as per requiste qualifications specified in particular specification for approval of GE duly recomended by Engineer-in- charge.

M & L Preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description, over 10 cm width or girth, not otherwise described and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint. complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting/cleaning of branches, bushes & levelling undue surface through cable route/fire fighting pipe line, pump house area including disposal the material up to a distance not execeding 50 m complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for rectification of existing defective flanged joints with rubber or fibre gasket complete with necessary nuts, bolts and washers for 80 mm dia GI/DI/MS pipes complete all as directed. Note:- a) quoted rates are inclusive of cutting of GI/DI/MS Pipes, jointing materials and preparation of new flanged sockets and refixing the same at existing place.

All as per SL item No.4 above but of size 100 mm dia.

All as per SL item No.4 above but of size 150 mm dia.

Excavation in trenches n.exc. 1.5 m wide and n. exc. 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft / loose soil for foundation, of pipe lines etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per SL item No.7 above but in hard/dense soil including cutting of roads/ PCC floors.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick in soil.

Removing surplus excavated soil n. exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n-exc 1.5 m above the starting point.

Supply and replace battery charger of capacity 24 volt electronic type with auto cut system including charger base stand complete all as specified and as directed

Supply, laying XLPE insulated PVC FRLS, screened , PVC bedded and PVC tape sheathed galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable (heavy duty) 1100 volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 3.5 core 95 Sq mm including taking out old un-serviceable cable complete all as specified and directed.

All as per SL item No.12 above but of size 3.5 core 120 Sqmm.

M & L taking down existing fire fighting pipe line from the existing PCC pillar without any damage, for repair/ construct the new PCC pedastals, after completing PCC work refixing the same fire fighting pipe lines on PCC pedastals complete all as specified directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :-(i) Quoted rates are inclusive of cutting/welding of MS pipes, and replacement of nut & bolts, rubber gaskets and necessary accessories complete. (ii) PCC work, excavation, removing of surplus soil shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply and replacement of MS ERW pipe 150 mm bore, thickness not less than 5.40 mm all as per IS 3589:2001 with flanges made out of MS & rubber insertion, nuts, bolts etc., complete including cutting, welding etc., and preparation of pipe surface and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of zinc chrome primer in open places and with bitumen coating/felt cover including making leak proof joints complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Sl. item No.15 above but for 100 mm bore MS pipe, 5.40 mm thick

All as per Sl. item No.15 above but for 80 mm bore MS pipe, 4.80 mm thick

Repair/maintenance of 70 to 90 BPH diesel engine including replacement of necessary filters, spares including engine oil and rewinding of starter, repairs of iron base foundation, head cover including welding work all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: The above quoted rate is inclusive of replacement of old silencer, suction bent pipe, head cleaning, tapet setting complete.

Repair/ maintenance of fire hose box by changing of damaged doors along with locking arrangements, front glass of existing size, PCC foundation and necessary rubber gaskets for doors complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Quoted rates are inclusive of one coat of synthetic enamel paint, (paint red and inside clean white paint).

Taking down existing electric motor of 20 to 25 HP capacity 3 phase, 415 Volts, 50 cycles AC from foundations bed / coupling, opening the motor, taking to workshop and removing the burnt windings, cleaning the stator and rotor with cleaning agent rewinding the motor with appropriate gauge of super enamelled copper wire of same gauge and same No of turns of existing make insulating winding with existing class of insulation varnishing baking up including replacement of base foundation nuts, bolts and re-installation of motor with suitable packing materials and connecting to the pump and testing the motor to satisfactory performance complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of necessary bearings as required at site.

All as per SL item No.20 above but 40 to 90 HP capacity.

M&L dismantling Centrifugal/ mono block pump coupled with electric motor 3 phase 415 Volts for overhauling 20 to 25 HP capacity pump sets and including cleaning removing the scales, replacement of case ring, latern ring, shaft sleeve, CI gland covers with MS studs, ball bearings, coupling key, rubber bush, nut, bolts, impeller key, lock washer, gasket, greasing etc, re-assembling same in position, testing and commissioning of complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

All as per SL. Item No.22 above but of capacity 75 to 100 HP

Supply and replacement of 3/4 pole ML/ MNX type contactor (2 NO+2 NC) suitable for upto 25 HP capacity mortor starter complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and replacement of 3/4 pole ML/ MNX type contactor (2 NO+2 NC) suitable for 40 to 100 HP capacity mortor starter complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and replacement of fire hydrant landing valve gun metal, type A (Single head outlet) of 63 mm bore conforming to IS-5290 complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and replacement of fire hydrant landing valve gun metal, type 'B' (Double head outlet) of 63 mm bore conforming to IS-5290 complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down & refixing the old fire hydrant valves of size 80 mm dia from hydrant post and removing the corrosion,changing the damaged pins from pivot end, softening the shaft of iron wheel and applying the greese for lubrication of fire hydrant valves complete all as directed by EIC. Note:- Quoted rates are inclusive of nut & Bolts, rubber gaskets and other connected items.

Repairs to automatic control panel of fire fighting system comprising of replacement of pressure switch, arresting leakages in the line etc., for effective functioning of Jockey pump to maintain desired pressure level in the system complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Supply and laying DI K9 water supply pipe lines of size 150 mm bore flanged end having cement mortar lining with portland slag cement as per IS 455 : 1989 bituminous coating as per Annex 'C' of IS 8329 including taking down old DI water mains complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE: (i) Earth work will be measured and paid seperately.

All as per Sl. item No. 30 above but of 100 mm dia

Routine testing & maintenance of internal & external fire fighting equipment of multi storied building including yard hydrant, fire inlet valve, terrace valve, fire brigade inlet valve, NRVs, wet risers, floor landing double hydrant valves, hose with hose reel assembly and accessories for smooth and trouble free operation at heavy lift pump area MO(V) complete all as directed by Engineer in charge

M&L for PCC 1:2:4, type B1 (using 20 mm graded granite stone aggregate) as in bases/ pedestals for pipe lines, mud stops or chamfered on edges, including dismantling existing complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and replace DI specials such as bends (any type, radius and angle) tapers any type, straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc.) tee pieces single branch, "Y" junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or sockets and spigot) collars, caps and plugs upto 200 mm bore complete all specified and as directed.

Supply and replacement of Flexible hose reel drum of 15 metre length complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and replacement Gun metal branch pipe 63mm dia instantaneous inlet, made traded outlet, 15mm bore nozzle short complete all as specfied and as directed.

Supply and laying GI pipes medium grade of 25 mm dia with all fittings and fixtures laid in trenches / on walls / under floor / road including taking down old unserviceable complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 20 mm (outer dia) 3-layer PP-R (Polypropylene random copolymer) concealed SDR 7.4 Stabilized and antimicrobial fusion welded having thermal stability for hot and cold water supply all PP-R plain and brass threaded polypropylene random fittings fixed to walls, ceilings etc, complete including taking down old unserviceable GI pipe all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge:

Supply, install, commissioning and testing APFC panel for 3 phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz system of capacity 100 KVAR with incoming MCCBs 250 Amps 4 pole of suitable rupturing capacity complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron strip 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 connected to earthing test point complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: (i) The unit rate shall also include for earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:3:6 type C1 chamber, RCC 1:2:4, type B1 cover 50 mm thick with 8 mm dia TMT bar @ 140 mm C/C, GI watering pipe 20 mm bore medium grade, funnel, wire mesh including filling with charcoal and salt etc. (ii) GI earth strip upto 7.5 metre shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate and beyond 7.5 metres shall be measured and paid separately under relavent item.

Supply and fix 20 mm dia Gun metal gate valve, with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed including cutting the pipe line and taking down old unserviceable valves wherever required complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
