Labour only for cleaning the vegetation/surplus soil around the earth pits upto 1.00 mtr all around the pit, cleaning the chamber of the earth pit, replacing the rusted earthing leads/funnel / mesh with new ones etc checking the results of the earthing using earth tester, re-activating the earth pit using suitable measures as required to bring the results within the limits of 1 /2/3/5 ohm complete all as specified & as directed. NOTE : i) All materials required for re-activation of earthing pit will be measured and paid separately under supplied only of respective item of schedule. ii) The resistance test of earth pits to be carried out in dry season only. iii) Contractor has to submit the satisfactory earth test reasult duly countersigned by users fo payment purpose.

Supply only magnesium sulphate for earth pt.

M & L in replacement of earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground earth pit with adequate quantity of charcoal and dust and common salt , not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level connected to & including galvanised earth lead wire 4 mm dia drawn through GI protection pipe of size ordered specified for protection of earthing lead from earth electrode to test point/main DB from mechanical injury or tempering by means of nuts and bolt check nuts and washers of galvanised iron sheet all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part - I and connected to earthing test point complete including testing, refilling earth and removal of surplus soil upto 50 mtrs, PCC 1:3:6 type CI chamber precast RCC cover 40 mm thick reinforced with 6 mm dia MS bar 3 Nos both way with handle made out of 6 mm dia MS bar water pipe with wire mesh and connecting testing etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L in replacement of earthing complete with copper plate electrode 600 x 600 x 3.15 mm thick burried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level connected to & inclduing copper strip 20x3 mm by means of nuts and bolt check nuts and washers of galvanised iron sheet, passing through protection pipe of 25 mm dia light grade GI pipe all as shown in electrical plate Nos 3 of SSR Part-I, and connected to earthing test point complete inclduing testing filling of adquate quantity of charcoal dust and common salt inclduing refilling earth and removal of surplus soil upto 50 mtrs apart and PCC 1:3:6 type C1 chamber precast RCC cover 40mm thick nrinforces with 6 mm dia MS bar 3 Nos both way with handle made out of 20 mm dia MS base water pipe with wire mesh, funnel etc and connecting testing etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to depth not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to and including GI strip of 32x6mm as earth lead up to 7.5 mtr long fixed by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers etc. of galvanised iron or steel including provn of HDPE protection pipe light grade of 32/40mm bore and connected to earth strip earthing test point all as shown in electrical plate No.5 of SSR Part-I 2009 and as specified or indicated and testing on completion including necessary excavation & earthwork in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, precast slab 50mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4)type B1 (reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (XPM) of weight not less than 4kg/sqm) with frame, funnel with watering pipe of 15mm bore Sch.40, wire mesh and lugs, test point etc. complete. Note: G I strip exceeding 7.5m long shall be measured & paid seperately.

M&L for chemical earthing complete with Copper earth plate electrode 90cmx60cm x 5 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to depth not less than 3.00 mtr below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level connected to and including Copper strip of 32x6mm as earth lead up to 7.5 mtr long fixed by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers or brazing etc. of galvanised iron or steel including provn of GI protection pipe light grade of 40mm bore and connected to earth strip earthing test point all as shown in electrical plate No.5 of SSR Part-I 2009 and as specified or indicated and testing on completion including necessary excavation & earthwork in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, precast slab 50mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4)type B1 (reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (XPM) of weight not less than 4kg/sqm) with frame, funnel with watering pipe of 15mm bore medium grade, wire mesh and lugs, test point including salt (150KG), Coal dust(100KG) & Magnesium sulphate (150KG) including refilling of earth pit with cultivated soil and removal of surplus soil upto 50mtrs apart etc. complete. Note: Copper strip exceeding 7.5m long shall be measured & paid separately.The earth resistance value less than 1 ohm.Failing to achieve the value the contractor shall be re do the earthing without any extra cost.

Supply and fix in repair Air termination, single point copper rod 12 mm dia and 300 mm long complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hex. head screw complete all as specified & as directed.

Supply and fixing Copper strip 25 x 3.15 mm fixed with saddles, insulators and screws etc for roof conductor and down conductor above ground, including breazing at joints complete all as specified & as directed.

Demolition of existing damaged valve pits and provn of new earth pit chamber of size 30cmx30cmx30cm constructed in PCC (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded aggregate including cast iron frame with hinged pit cover of size 12"x12" having 7 kg weight all as per electrical plate No.3 complete all as specified & as directed.

Supply & fix GI pipe 1.5 RM long medium grade vertically fixed by means of PCC 1:2:4 of size 1.5'x1.5'x1' for mounting of Copper air termination rod complete all as specified & as directed.

Supply and fixing Copper strip 32x6 mm fixed with saddles, insulators and screws etc for roof conductor and down conductor above ground, including breazing at joints complete all as specified & as directed.

Supply and fixing earthing strip insulators made of any material as copper/GI strip of size upto 32x6 mm complete all as specified & as directed.

Supply & Fix in repair re-winding of 3 phase existing rooftop siren for auto/Manual operation. This includes repairs, installation and testing of siren on site.

Supply and laying in trenches or passing through pipe, fixed to wall/pole and duct etc LT underground electric cable including jointing and testing XLPE insulated armoured heavy duty underground cable with stranded aluminium conductor 1100 volt grade inclduing takingdwon unserviceable cable alongwith cable covers for 16 sqmm, 4.0 core all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in Hard/dense soil, for under ground electric cable, pipes etc. all as directed and specified. (Note : Authorised width & depth shall only be excavated, measured and paid as specified in clause 3.2.3 of SSR part II and 19.7.4.1 of SSR part I)

Returning, filling-in, including, spreading, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick each, in Hard/dense soil complete all as specified & directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for sand cushioning/filling in trenches for cable cushioning complete with dry river sand of good quality all as specified

Supplying & laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class LV, Type 2, with peak, size 250 mm x 150 mm x 40 mm confirming to IS 5820 (M20 grade concrete) each other with gap between adjacent slab not exceeding 10mm over underground cable for protection all as specified and directed.
