Sculpture work on existing boulders
Designing, detailing and planning of all the sculpting work which includes mapping of the sculpture references to the boulders, preparation of visual depiction of the proposed outcome after sculpting. The agency should engage necessary art consultant to transform the given references into executable form, prepare visual depiction of their designs, get these designs approved by the NMI.
Sculpting of the mapped sculpture on the boulder with maximum possible size. The cost should be inclusive of (a) engaging required number of sculptors, helpers and other necessary manpower for executing the sculpting work, (b) all tools and tackles, (c) cordoning of the work area/s at site, (d) providing necessary arrangements such as accommodation, food, heating arrangements, transportation to and fro to the work site from their place of residence by appropriate means, health insurance of members etc. (e) coordinating and getting advise from the National Museum Institute (NMI), (f) arranging and organizing for inspection of work as and when desired, (g) all expenses towards engaging consultants, experts etc. for the purpose of this work and (h) such other incidental and associated expenses. (any fractional dimension will be treated as one unit in sq. ft.)
Cement mural work on existing RCC Retaining wall
Designing, detailing and planning of all the cement murals including fixing arrangement on RCC wall at site based on the references provided by the centre. The agency should engage necessary art consultant to transform the given references into executable form, prepare visual depiction of their designs including structural design and get these designs approved by the NMI
Creation of cement murals as per approved design and installation of the same at site including colouring etc. if any, all complete. Implement the approved designs on the unfinished RCC retaining wall behind Kedarnath temple. The quoted costs should include (a) cost of materials and transportation of the same to the site of procurement to the site of execution, (b) engagement of necessary skilled manpower and developing the murals (either in whole or in parts), (c) transportation of these semi-finished murals/mural components to the site, fixing the same using necessary supports and brackets without damaging the strength of the RCC wall, (d) finishing the murals with necessary colours for providing best quality finish that would withstand the weather conditions of Kedarnath, (e) providing necessary arrangements such as accommodation, food, heating arrangements, transportation to and fro to the work site from their place of residence by appropriate means, health insurance of members etc., (f) coordinating and getting advise from the National Museum Institute (NMI), (g) arranging and organizing for inspection of work as and when desired, (h) all expenses towards engaging consultants, experts etc. for the purpose of this work and (i) such other incidental and associated expenses. (Any fractional dimension exceeding 6” will be treated as one unit in sq. ft.)
Adhisthanam work on existing RCC Retaining wall
Designing, detailing and planning of all the adhishtanam including fixing arrangement on RCC wall at site based on the references provided by the centre. The agency should engage necessary art consultant to transform the given references into executable design form, prepare visual depiction of their designs including structural designs and get these designs approved by the NMI
Fabrication and installation of adhishtanam based on the references provided in the tender at site on the RCC retaining wall behind Kedarnath temple. Implement the approved designs on the unfinished RCC retaining wall behind Kedarnath temple. The quoted costs should include (a) cost of materials and transportation of the same to the site of procurement to the site of execution, (b) engagement of necessary skilled manpower, preparation of moulds and fabrication of the adhishtanam in cement concrete in the form of segments that can be assembled, (c) transportation of these semi-finished adhishtanam components to the site, fixing the same using necessary supports and brackets without damaging the strength of the RCC wall, (d) finishing with necessary colours for providing best quality finish that would withstand the weather conditions of Kedarnath, (e) providing necessary arrangements such as accommodation, food, heating arrangements, transportation to and fro to the work site from their place of residence by appropriate means, health insurance of members etc., (f) coordinating and getting advise from the National Museum Institute (NMI), (g) arranging and organizing for inspection of work as and when desired, (h) all expenses towards engaging consultants, experts etc. for the purpose of this work and (i) such other incidental and associated expenses. Finishing the exposed area of existing RCC retaining wall after fixing of murals and adhishtanam along with its buttresses behind the Kedarnath temple with necessary cement plastering as per the approved design
Painting of the plastered surface using premium exterior acrylic emulsion with silicon additive in approved colour and design to withstand the local moist weather conditions.
