SCHEDULE `A' PART-IX MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS OF WORK (Note for items 9.01 to 9.11. The contractor shall quote his rate for each of these items separately. The estimated rate is left blank since the same is not prepriced by MES)

Supply and laying DWCPE (SN8) drain pipes 150mm nominal dia conforming to latest IS, laid in trenches and / or on bed to required slope, including all accessories/fittings/jointing ring, jointing and testing complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-In-Charge. M & L for construction of platform of size 4mtrX2mtrX1.5mtr for DG Set including excavation and earthwork 4x2x1m, Soiling 4x2x0.10m using stone boulders, Hard Core 4x2x0.80m with stone aggregates of gauge 15mm, cement concrete 1:3:6 Type C2 (40 mm graded aggregate foundation 4x2x0.1m , PCC 1:3:6 Block masonry 0.2m wide, 0.4m in height all around the platform and RCC 1:2:4 type B1 (20 mm aggregate) 4x2x0.1m in size with top finished even and smooth using extra cement, Rendering 500mm high sides of the platform with 15 mm thick cement plaster 1:4, complete. The platform shall be 0.5 mtr above the ground level and 1.0 mtr below ground level complete all as specified and directed..

M & L for cutting of existing 100/50 mm GI pipeline and inserting Tee 100x100x80mm and connecting 50 GI pipe with reducer all as specified and directed.

M & L for construction of new valve chamber in PCC solid block in PCC (1:4:8) type D5 built in cement mortar (1:4) with mild steel angle iron (45x45x6mm) frame including MS cover of 3mm thick and locking arrangement including excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil, PCC (1:4:8) type D2 for foundation, 50mm thick PCC coping in PCC (1:2:4) type B1 plastering in CM (1:4) 15mm thick painting with one coat of bituminous black paint on all steel surfaces all as shown on Drg No CEAA/TD/57 sheet 1/1 for the 1050x750x1000mm internal sizes of all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for provision of a layer of dry sand of 08cm depth for the purpose of cushioning before laying of cables and provision of sand to cover the cable with sand to depth of 15cm including gently punning down of the 15cm deep sand layer down to 10cm above the top of the upper most cable, all as per clause 19.75 of MES Schedule Part-I. Note:- Punned thickness of 18cm in lieu of 23cm unpunned thickness of sand shall be measured and paid for.

Cutting to existing bituminous / PCC road not less than 30cm in dept and 30 cm wide, suitable for laying of cable through GI pipe and refilling of the trench with cement concrete 1:3:6, all as directed.

Supply, install, testing and commissioning factory assembled silent Diesel Engine driven generator set, fully wired alternator AC to give an output of 40 KVA continuosly rating at a power factor 0.8 lagging, 3 phase 4 wire 415 volts 50 Hz +/- 1% power supply with power factor 0.8 coupled directly to alternator mounted on a common base plate complete with integral acoustic enclosure having silent features such as modular bolted construction with fabrication on imported CNC torret punch machines, nine tank treatment process with pure polyester based powder coating to ensure long life in all weather conditions and for outdoor application/ installation, integrated design thereby facilitating /easy handling installation 86 shifting of the equipment at site. The design of integral acoustic enclosure should be any type approved by national Physical laboratory as per CPCB-IV + norms as per latest CPCB norms applicable with fuel tank, battery and standard accessories all as specified and as directed with the following specifications:-

(a) Diesel Engine: Liquid cooled turbo charged with after cooler to deliver suitable BHP at1500 RPM under NTP conditions of BS:5514 and conforming to IS:10000, DIN 6271 & ISO 8528-5, ISO:13018, IS:3046 with an overload capacity of 10% for one hour in any 12 hours continuous operation with the following accessories. Diesel engine of rated speed at full load electric start developing with system with radiator and including electronic governor control of class Al engine control panel, lub oil pump, water pump fuel tank, exhaust pipe with silencer and suitable for electric start with batteries of adequate capacity and suitable for alternator of specified capacity complete with fly wheel direct flexible coupling and coupling guard complete. (i) Radiator with blower fan or heat exchanger with guard (ii) Pipe coupling for engine cooling system piping (iii) Corrosion inhibitor coolant (Iv) Paper element filters (v) Fuel filter (vi) Lube oil filter (vii) By pass (will) Fly wheel housing and fly wheel to suit alternator (ix) Engine bearing mechanism in fly wheel housing (x) Shut off coil with safeties for LLOP/HWT/over speed. (xi) Dry type air cleaners and vacuum indicators (xii) Residential silencers (xiii) Stainless steel exhaust flexible bellows. (xiv) Motor driven priming pump (xv) Battery charging alternator. (xvi) Exhaust piping made out of STIC C class, MS pipe inclusive of all accessories and hardware, necessary supports scaffolding as per manufacturers recommendations to sustain back pressure with rain cap. (xvii) Mineral wool insulation 2 inch thick suitable for 400 degree Celsius temperature gladded with aluminium sheet 30 gauge for the entire length of exhaust pipe. (xviii) First fill of oil, coolant and diesel during commissioning and 12 hours testing. (xix) Interconnecting copper cabling of adequate capacity batteries control. (n) Fuel pipe class STIC 1"/1 5" /2" dia - 01 lot (xxi) Self starter 12 volts DC. (xxii) Electric operated electronic governor. (xxiii) Fuel injection pump. (xxiv) Electronic instrument panel, complete with all accessories as per manufacturers specifications displaying the following:- (1) 12V Battery - 01 No or as per OEM recommendations (2) Water temperature. (3) Lubricating oil pressure (4) Engine speed -1500Rpm (5) Engine hours (6) Frequency. (7) Voltage. (8) Safety control (Trip and indication). (9) High water temperature (10) Low tube oil temperature (11) Over speed stop (xxiv) Base frame: Sturdy, fabricated welded construction, channel iron base frame (duly painted) for mounting engine and alternator as per manufacturers design along with AVM pads. (m) Battery:- 12V (01x12v Battery) DC, 95 AH, maintenance free battery conforming to IS:14257 with leads & terminals (Make- Exide/Amaron). (xxvi) Fuel tank: 12 hrs. full load diesel storage capacity, fuel tank with mounting brackets factory made of 5mm thick HR/MS sheet with level indicator fuel Inlet, fuel outlet, air vent, drain plug, in let arrangement for diesel filling from exterior canopy (without opening its panel) etc complete all as specified and directed. (b) Alternator:- Suitable rated, 40 KVA, 0.8 PF, 415 volts, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz at 1500 RPM, self excited and self regulated with AVR brushless, screen protected, drip proof , insulation class-H, IP -23, voltage regulation grade - VG 3 self ventilated and conforming to BS: 5000/ IS: 4722 suitable for engine as mentioned here-in before, conforming to IS/IEC 60034-1 alternator provide with space heater. (c) Acoustic Enclosure:- M & L for acoustic enclosure for the above 40 KVA DG set to reduce noise level to 75 dB measured at 1.0 meter distance for audible frequencies as per guide of Central Pollution Control Board and size 3490 x 1340 x 1885mm and manufactures specification and comprising of following from authorised GOEMs of Gen Set manufacturer's specified :- (i) Sound insulation : 100mm thick Rock wool (Density 64 Kg/Cum). (ii) Outer body: 1.6mm thick CRCA (iii) Door : 1.6mm thick CRCA (iv) Base frame : ISMC 300 (v) Inside illumination : 1 No.- 1 x 10 watt led fitting of make Phillips/ Bajaj/Crompton. (d) AMF Control panel:- Factory fabricated Cubicle type, free standing, floor mounted, indoor type, IP-52, AMF control panel, provided with removable rear panels & hinged front panel for easy accessibility, fabricated out of not less than 2.0mm thick CRCA sheet including two coats of powder coated paint over a coat of red oxide primer etc and comprising of following: AMF control circuit with 4 pole MCCB 63 Amps - 01no, with ultimate breaking capacity lcu-36 KA (e) Foundation: Foundation of DG set be as per manufacturer recommendation. The height of foundation minimum 60cm above the ground level. The foundation be constructed using PCC blocks 1:3:6 including plaster, white wash etc. complete as directed by GE/EIC.
