Speed Limiting governor and regulating valve assembly .(i) Governor performance erratic. Dismantle and overhaul the speed limiting governor control system and test for optimum performance. (ii) Proving of speed limiting control system including low oil pressure trip.MRC No. 45B9LXN 45C9W5N

Speed Limiting governor and regulating valve assembly .Inspect auxiliary drive train of lub oil pump and governor wear, scuffing and backlash. MRC No. 45X45YN

Lub Oil System .Pump not developing adequate pressure. Inspect and overhaul the pump and clean the connected pipelines. Renew worn out / defective sub-parts. MRC No. 45A9VRU

Lub Oil System .Chemical cleaning (hot caustic soda solution) and pressure testing and both lub oil and sea water sections of the cooler. Repair in case of leaks / failure during testing.MRC No. 14U16EU

Lub Oil System .Inspect self-driven lub oil pump, pressure regulator and oil filter. Renew defective / worn out components, especially the oil filter. --

Tachometer .Tachometer reading at local and remove stations erratic. Inspect, overhaul and calibrate the tachometer and associated connector system.--

Valves and Fittings .Overhaul and test oil relief valve and associated system components.--

Turbine.Inspection of all turbine support and thrust bearing and measurement of thrust clearances. Renew worn out / defective sub-components. Balancing of turbine / shaft if required. MRC No. 45G59XN

Blowers.Inspect and assess clearance of shaft seal, to prevent oil leakage. Renew worn out / defective sub-components. Balancing of blowers if required. --

Blowers.Cleaning and inspection of blower impeller / blades, casing and duct.MRC No. 14X27CY

Valves and Fittings .Test and repair turbine casing sentinel valve.

Instrumentation.Inspection and testing of related instrumentations; repair / overhaul defective units, along with associated pipe connectors. All units to be calibrated and refitted, including mount and bracketing. Miscellaneous Works .Degutting and re-gutting and proving thereafter of related and adjacent system / equipments to undertaken and facilitate the aforesaid works (with prior approval of User Manager / Planning Manager / Ship) --

Miscellaneous Works .De-lagging and re-lagging of pipelines and hot surfaces, exacting to original quality of lagging; wherever removed. --

Setting to Work and Trials .(i) Setting to work and proving of all parameters as per tech manual/ EOSS. (ii) Tuning of Governor for optimum performance of the blower to meet the combustion efficiency of the boiler. (iii) Starting and stopping as per EOSS. (iv) Performance/ capacity trial by matching performance curve as per drawing 60-530 SHT2 of tech manual. (v) Idling speed setting between 1800 to 2000 rpm for automatic operations. (vi) Speed limiting at 5620+100 rpm and over speed trip at 6688 rpm. (vii) Harbour/ Sea trials with automatic boiler operation from Electronic Automatic Boiler Control System (EABC).--

Turbine .Inspect and assess clearances of sealing glands. Renew if worn out / defective. MRC No. 14X27CY

Documentation and Records .A comprehensive record of work undertaken, with record of parameters and performance values, calibration and test reports, spares used /refurbished, along with photographs of important repair / refit evolutions to be submitted.
