REPAIRS / RESURFACING OF ROADS, ROAD FURNITURE AND ROAD SIGN BOARDS AT CGRA NALIYA AND ICGS JAKHAU UNDER AGE (I) JAKHAU

M&L for repair to pot holes of depth upto 250 mm, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repair to pot holes exc 30mm depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt,dust,mud etc. applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 kg per 10 sq metre using paving bitumen of grade VG 10 on existing black top surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) paving bitumen any penetration, binder content of grade VG-30, 4% by weight of total mix complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for and laying bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete, 25mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient, binder content paving bitumen of Grade VG 30, any penetration complete all as specified and directed.

Removal & re-fixing of road furniture (Cate Eye, Road Sturds etc)

M&L for preparation of black bituminous road surface and applying thermoplastic road marking paint of white/yellow colour strips of width 125mm, minimum 2.5mm thick with applicator machine and heated mixer with string machanism at temperature 160 degree centrigrate, laid uniformly with width as directed. Paint shall be cofirming to BS 3362 Part I & II 1989 etc. complete all s per manufacturers instructions and as directed. Make- Shivalik/CMS Ltd/Automat Road Safety Ltd/Hotherm PLast Engineers

Dismantling of stainless steel sign board of any description including steel post/struts any section including demolition of PCC foudation and removing debris away from the site complete all as directed.

M&L cement concrete type B-2 (1:2:4) (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) for embedding post complete all as specified and directed.

S&F following for road sign boards :- (i) Stainless Steel hollow circular section(50mm dia),medium weight as in posts and strus for sign boards including tops to shape as directed drilling holes,etc complete. (ii) Stainless Steel plain sheets 1mm thick as in sign board and similar work,cut to size ,marking holes punched included round hearted screw or rivets and fixed to stainless steel framing with plain 40mm lap joints with revited or welded seams, including bending or turning up mitred angles etc as requred complete. (iii) Coloured luminous acrylic PVC film (sheet) self adhesive of blue colour on stainless steel surfaces of boards etc complete. (iv) Coloured luminous acrylic PVC strip,logo,letters or figures(Block,Roman,italic or Indian) with coloured luminous acrylic PVC film self adhesive, fixed on boards etc complete all as specified and directed.
