M & L for carrying out soil investigation by Augur boring / rotary drilling method to carry out bore holes of 150mm dia in any type of soil/rock , and making trail pit size of 1.2m x 1.2m at 5m away from the bore hole, locating water table, conducting standard penetration test (SPT) as per IS specification at 1.00m interval / at every change in strata including conducting following laboratory tests as specified in the IS of collected sample and preparation and submission of six set of report for the 10 mtr depth :- (i) Index properties of soil such as a grain size distribution moistur content, density, plasticity characteristics. (ii) Direct shear test/unconfined compression triaxial test to obtain the value of cohesion and angle of internal friction. (iii) Scope of investigation, exploration technique, soil profile, bore log etc. (iv) Recommended SBC at different depth of foundation (1.5m, 2.0m and 2.5m) and different size of foundations are:- (a) 1.50 x 1.50 M (b) 1.50 x 2.50 M (c) 2.00 x 2.50 M (d) 2.00 x 3.00 M (e) for raft foundation. (v) SBC and its calculation based on 'N' value, shear strength and settlement criteria. (vi) Ground water table. (vii) Expansive or problematic Soil and its properties if any.

(viii) Recommendation of type foundation for different structure including building for/double and multi storied construction. (ix) Chemical analysis of soil, if required, including recommendation and type of cement to be used for filling under floors and filling under protection including plinth. (x) Recommendation for filling under floors and filling under protection including plinth protection.

(xi) RL of the ground level/foundation level w.r.t. bench mark. (xii) Nature of each stratum and engineering properties of soil and rock which may effect design and mode of construction of proposed structures and their foundation. (xiii) Recommended SBC for all bore holes. (xiv) Photography record of testing. (xv) Recommendation as regards possibility of liquefaction of soil. (xvi) Swelling pressure and swelling index in respect of BC Soil and its depth/layer. (xvii) Location of GWT peak monsoon (lowest) and peak summer (highest) period. (xvii) Possible corrosive effects of soil and water on foundation material. (xviii) Any other recommendation.

Ditto all as bove item no. 1.00 but for 15m depth. For water retaining structure like UG SUMP, OHT and etc.

Carrying out Contour Survey Work by Total Station include Marking of Important structures and utility (Road, Buildings, and Electric Lines) Contour will be plotted at interval of 3 meter and drawing of 1 soft copy + 3 Hard Copy

Site clearance including cutting of bushes/shrubs, etc of any type including removal outside from site for making the area accesible and enabling of soil investigation and contour survey work.
