Improvements to Sankaraguptam Drain

Dredging major drains from existing levels to the levels specified by the department with the dredger procured by the contractor and depositing the dredged material in the area specified by the department as directed by the Engineer-in-Chief.

Excavation in all kinds of soil including boulders upto 0.30 m dia for canal, seating of embankment for filter drains/catch water drains etc., including dressing of bed and sides to required profile, cost of all materials, machinery, labour, placing the excavated stuff for formation of service road / embankment as directed etc., complete with initial lead include with inital lead upto 1 km and all lifts as directed by the Engineer-in-Chief.

Providing and fixing 20 x 20 x 75 cm size temporary bench mark stone in CC 1 : 4 : 8 using 40 mm down size graded coarse aggregate including cost of all materials, labour, dressing top surface, engraving BM data etc.,complete with lead upto 50 m and all lifts. as directed by the Engineer-in-Chief.

Supply of casurina piles of size 50 mm to 100mm dia.

Fixing casurina piles of size 50 mm to 100 mm dia including removing knots, mending and fixing horizontals at every 0.50 m c/c in position as directed by the department

Supply and fixing of casurina/ bamboos of size 25 mm to 50 mm dia. including removing knots, mending and fixing horizontals at every 0.30 m c/c for out side in position and tie with wire, nails as directed by the department

Supply and fixing bamboo thatties of 1/4" thick 1/2" split 4" c/c including cost and conveyance of materials to site of work.

Earth work in excavation in all kinds of soils of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling with approved material. As directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Filling foundation with sand in layers of 25 to 30 cm and compacting by watering, ramming as directed Including cost of all materials, machinery, labour etc., complete with initial lead upto 50 m and all lifts. As directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
