JOB WORK FOR SURVEY, SOIL INVESTIGATION AND SITE CLEARANCE FOR IN-ICG JETTY WORK AT VISAKHAPATNAM

SITE CLEARANCE

M&L for Jungle/Bush clearance in construction site of IN-ICG jetty incl uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood etc and removal of rubbish distance exc 5.00 km not exc 25.00 km outside MoD land.

Surface excavation n. exc 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out as in soft/loose soil

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) as in compound wall

Demolition of Brick work or stone masonry built in cement mortar as in compound wall

Dismantling structural steel work including doors, gates but excluding framed truss etc.

Removing building materials etc. to a distance of exc 5.00km n exc 25 km outside MoD land including loading, unloading

SURVEY

Topographic block contour survey by total station, grid Level survey 3M X 3M as specified including necessary mobilisation and demobilisation (447 X 12M) including preparation of survey report and Hard copy

Bathymetric survey to be conducted using DGPS system and dual frequency Echo sounder with 10m interval along sea side at proposed IN-ICG jetty (area covering 447 X 30m) including preparation of survey report and Hard copy

SOIL INVESTIGATION

Mobilization and Demobilisation of two rotary drilling rig equipment with all accessories and other necessary equipment for boring. Rates including transportation of men and material.

Shifting of boring equipment with all accessories from one location to another location including labour and materials.

Boring 6''dia in all types of soils up to rock strata. a) Drilling NX size boring upto 3m into rock and collection of core samples in rock. b) Carrying out Standard Penetration Tests(SPT) at required intervals, as per IS-2131-1963 upto refusal standards fro confirmation of the layers. c) Depth of water table, collection of ground water samples d) Carrying out the following laboratory tests on collected rock samples and testing on rock samples as per the requirement :- (i) Natural Moisture Content (ii) Bulk Density and Dry Density (iii) Specific Gravity (iv) Grain Size Distribution (v) Atterberg Limits (vi) Unconfined Compression Test (vii) Triaxial Compression Test (viii) Direct Shear Permeability Test (ix) Type of Characteristics of rock (x) Engineering properties of rock

Submission of report consisting of bore logs, data sheets with laboratory test results and Recommendations for the type of foundation for construction of structures. In case where pile foundations are recommended vertical, uplift and lateral capacities of piles to be clearly brought out.(Three hard copies along with a soft copy will be submitted)
