DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS

Supply ,laying jointing and testing of cable XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, laid in trenches or duct or passing through pipe or fixed to poles walls with suitable cable gland, lugs of cross sectional area 16 Sqmm 4 core complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying in trenches/Floor or fixed to Pole/Wall GI pipe light grade with fitting for protection of cable complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge of following sizes:- (a)80 mm bore

(b)40 mm bore

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and n. exc 1.5 m in depth for laying of cable for in any type of soil and getting out all as specified and directed.

All as per Item No: 9 above but depth exceeding beyond 1.5mtr and not exc 3 metre all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n. exc 25 cm apart for soft/loose soil all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance n.exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at level n.exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for well burnt bricks,Sub class 'B' bricks, best quality locally available laid flat, dry in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for dry Sand cushioning in trenches for protection of cable including watering and consolidation all as specified and directed. Note: Punned thickness shall be considerd for measurment purpose.

Material and labour for PCC 1:3:6 Type C-2 (Using 40 mm grade aggregate as in foundation of pole, stay and filling and mass concrete) including providing necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for PCC 1:2:4 type B1 set in cement mortar 1:6 using 20 mm grade stone aggregate as in copping of electric pole at site including providing necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cutting the road/hard standing to a size not exceeding 75cm in depth and 45 cm in width for protection of XLPE cable including making good so as to match existing finishing with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for 100mm thick on top incld fair finishing complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, fixing and erection of steel tubular swaged pole 09 m long, type 410 SP-31, weight not less than 154 kgs, pole should be in one piece only and smooth finishing, ISI marked conforming to IS:2713-1980, complete with all accessories, such as cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts, screws, washers and drilling of holes for continious GI earth wire as specified including applying two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer and embedded portion shall be painted with two coats of black japan paint after preparation of surface( synthetic enamel paint in red and white strips upto 1.5 mtr height from coping ) complete all as specified and directed. Dismantling and taking down mild steel cross arms, bracings, supports, channels,angles,clamps etc from pole structure segregating serviceable portion and keeping in safe custody for reuse at site and removing unserviceable portion from site complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling insulators of any size /type and setting a side the serviceable quantity for reuse and removing the unserviceable quantity from site.
